Prosecution screwed up and don’t provide the defense with all the necessary legal discovery, so both sides agreed to take death penalty off the table to lessen the likelihood of mistrial. Secondarily, Idaho uses lethal injection, but is having trouble procuring the proper drugs at this time, and the prosecution was afraid they’d get a holdout on the jury if the option was only to give her death by firing squad.

The serpent may have beguiled them, but they chose to listen to the serpent! God gave them free will! And they chose to do the wrong thing! And the consequences were they got kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Every person is responsible for their own actions and they make their own choices end of story! Lori had a big part in killing her own children oh, she never wanted them in the first place, she only put on an act around other people to be a doting mother but deep down inside she wanted to be free of them! She is as equally guilty a killing her own children and chats wife and her husband and manipulating her brother into killing her husband as her protector but the only has the mind of a sixteen-year-old. She manipulated her brother and she is responsible! I don't know the the god that she's fabricated! My God said that shall not kill! This is definitely a cult mentality, but using God's name in vain is not saying the GD word, it is using God's name for gain of lust of money lust of the flesh and willing to do anything to fulfill your own perverted selfish desires. From what I've gotten, Alex was easily manipulated by Lori. She could get him to do anything she wanted him to. She basically told Chad they had to get rid of him because the police could get him to talk. They had some kind of hand in his death too.

The defense got two things right: Zulema wanted to feel special and cool and Melanie Gibb wanted to feel included and superior! We’ll have to stomach that they go Kelly have immunity so we could get their testimony against Chad and Lori, but Melanie herself was so eager to tell Nate, “folks will say I only heard this stuff on the news, no, I know it firsthand, I was there, I knew it all” before the kids were found. They were all in deep together and they’re lucky as H not to be in prison themselves now!
