I'm actually really happy to see Chris Hanson getting work. People were excessively harsh about Chris getting pinched. It seems like a routine promotion thing didn't work out and he ended up on the hook for a bunch of money. When he was arrested he was selling prized personal property to try to make things right immediately. That speaks volumes to me even if a mistake was made somewhere. I remember his days reporting here in Detroit. I'm sure people would have been thrilled to have him back but I understand that would damage his value and so on but hey. I am a retired LEO, These people can not be rehabilitated, I made countless arrests of these sickos, It was aggravating to see these sickos be out in the community once again doing the same thing again. Our system has been broken for many years. These sickos need to be locked up for good. Too many kids have died in the hands of these creeps after they have been released for these crimes. There is possibilities of rehabilitation in prison for some other crimes but not child molestation, This is what they crave, Can not stop the craving in prison. They only can't wait to get out to do it again. I am retired now so I can say, I wish I had one of the these creeps in my hands again. A guy I briefly worked with in a state prison dormitory in California got arrested for child molestation, and came back to the same facility in a jump suit.
