It's not the people in law enforcement who decide what is the first priority. It starts with other politicians. In some states they wouldn't even allow the police to do anything a few years ago when those riots were breaking out and they were burning everything down. Law enforcement doesn't have much say in what they go after. You had Jeffrey Epstein hanging out with politicians. It makes me wonder how many higher-ups are involved in this type of stuff and that's why it's not taken very seriously.

Also, a lot of times the police arent given the correct information from dispatch. I’ve seen that way too often. They just recently (within a year or two) changed the system for levels of urgency. It used to be where it would just say urgent only. In the case that pushed for the change, they weren’t told that someone was being actively murdered so they didnt know they needed to get there like yesterday. I feel like that could have been the issue here. I can’t imagine many police officers, who are fellow human beings, would ignore this call.

I think they willfully turn a blind eye to the majority of it. The scale to which this issue has grown as a result of the internet, social media and apps making it so accessable is astronomical. And unless/until the hosts are held responsible for not policeing and eliminating it from their platforms, they should bare criminal liability.

The husband sent the wife to pick up a child that he wanted to keep until she was old enough to legally marry She also described to him how they search social media for what she called "innocent pictures" of children at the pool, or whatever. She said they're easy to find and they enjoy them because they like to see the evolution of a child's body. From small and flat chested, to prepubescent and getting stretch marks. Take this as your sign to STOP POSTING PICS of your kids online!! What you may find as innocent, these creeps find as content to get off on. Nothing is innocent to them. Protect your babies!! Did they bother finding the kids? No. I worked with a child whose dad was on the news for exactly this. She had all the signs. No one would help her. Not police. Not CPS. Not her mom. Her dad got out of jail and came right back home to her and no one cared. I actually got in trouble for writing too many CPS reports.
