Hey, I just thought of something, it's about the Idaho murders I'm sure it's has nothing but I can't help but to think that it maybe a thought, the novel Crime and Punishment could also be a contributing factor if anyone has read this classic novel, you might see a connection,or not but it came to mind when I was listing the books that I want to replace that I've lost over time.

Thank you for sharing this story and truly inspirational how this man transformed his pain into the ability to help others. When he said he didn't blame the shooter, that he knew he just didn't get the help he needed, this is truly heartbreaking because it's a reality for most people with mental illness and depression.

Thank you for sharing your story….. mental health is no joke and needs to be talked about opening more especially with men. There should not be any sigma behind it, and men and women should feel it’s ok to talk about. Always check up on friends and family, instead of saying I hope your doing ok, ask them how they are. Take time to listen to them so they feel comfortable talking to you about it.

A lot of mental health issues in this country they need to step up their game there's a lot of money instead of taking care of illegals and bringing them into this country and giving them everything why don't we put it into mental health for the people that are already here. Not trying to make this a political thing but a real thing we need to take care of our own 1st. We as Americans can go to no country Nor should we be expected to And get all the services That they don't even give to their own people

@BoredPanda66

We already have the money to put into mental health services.. they just choose not to. It has nothing at all to do with illegals. Quite literally, nothing at all. The two aren’t related whatsoever. We don’t bring illegals into this country and we don’t give them everything. I don’t agree with providing illegals with anything other than a flight back to their country, but even if they didn’t spend the money taking care of those people, they wouldn’t use that money for mental health services. That’s just a fact. People really think that if we stopped giving money to and helping others, that that would mean the government would start doing good things for us lol that’s just ridiculous. They have the money right now to take care of our own, they CHOOSE not to. You can’t blame everyone else for the choices our government makes.
@sarcasticallyrearranged
@sarcasticallyrearranged Жыл бұрын
No one is giving illegals everything. Blame your state government for how much money is given for mental health care and I can assure you that it’s not much. Meanwhile, every police department has had their budget increased every year. Go look into your state funding!

The criminal dies and the good guy is left to pick up the pieces, how awful, but at least his family has him alive. And I disagree with the officer, it was the fault of the criminal, not society's b/c we must be our own advocate for good physical and mental health. I wish you and your family well

AK47?? Why are folk allowed to own these types of weapon? It’s insane - I’m from outside the USA and I’m saddened that innocent folk like this officer have to suffer because of the madness of the 2nd Amendment. It’s insane, so many innocent folk being murdered or maimed and nothing ever gets done about it. I can’t understand it.

I couldn't, you say you now understand Roddock. Nothing gives licence to kill another human being. Or when in depth of a mental state or drug influence, inexcusable. Particularly an innocent one venges frustration on, is worst immorality IMO. So not fair. You went in to save that creep & he did that. In your police service. X

So, somehow you have gotten this twisted. The issue in question is not one of constitutional law. People will get access to weaponry, whether it is illegal or not. The underlying issue here, as well as the issue being presented by Detective Brite, is one of mental health. Stop trying to skew this to your agenda.
