Such little regard for Harmonys life did they have, that even as his wife describes on the witness stand the unmistakable sound of bi lateral agonal breathing often referred to as the last death knell or the death rattle, caused by the victims lungs making its last, desperate attempts to provide oxygen to the brain, the most important major organ in the body that takes precedent over all other major organs as the body instinctively knows that there's no coming back once the brain dies and diverts all efforts to the brain in a last attempt to maintain life, even if the prospects of survival are negligible, and death soon follows the death rattle sound, yet they ignored Harmony and didn't even bother to check on her as she lay fighting for her life, a level of cruelty that is unparalleled in its unfathomable cruelty and total disregard for the sanctity of life.

This is why I have very little confidence in the criminal justice system and the jury process as a whole. There are way too many disparities. Now, I truly believe that this father was either directly or indirectly involved in his child's disappearance/murder; however, there is still no body to prove a murder has occurred, yet he was convicted of 2nd degree murder. Meanwhile, about a month or 2 ago, a lady in Georgia was found not guilty on all, but I think 1, charges in relation to the disappearance and murder of her child despite the child being missing for more than 2 decades and the body (remains rather) being positively identified. Juries go wherever the wind blows, and sentencing is all across the board, not only from state to state, but even within the same states. The entire system is a hot mess.

To "dethaw" is to be frozen. To THAW is to become unfrozen. There is "defrost," which is melting the thin layer of ice on a windshield, or in some cases, a freezer that gets ice build up must be defrosted periodically. **this also reminds me; "A.M., in the morning" and "P.M., at night". the abbreviation a.m. is short for the Latin ante meridiem, meaning “before noon,” which refers to the period from midnight until noon. PM or pm (also written P.M. or p.m.) is an abbreviation for Latin post meridiem, meaning "after midday" in the 12-hour clock. So, it is redundant to say "in the morning" or "at night" when a.m. or p.m. is used because a.m. literally means morning and p.m. literally means, after the noon hour/evening/night. Please feel free to share this post. Thank you

I would think people are smart enough to know what times are morning, noon & night without having to be told, lol. I would also bet people would know the difference of being defrosted, dethawed or thawed. 😂😂😂

She is a coward if she didn’t fight to protect a child. Lock them both up and don’t release them

The jury was meant to believe that Kayla killed her and lived to tell the tale? That sicko would of killed his wife if she had of touched his daughter because he’s the kind of sicko that would hurt someone for touching his kids but is ok for himself to hurt them!

May our good brothers whom made bad choices make a great choice here. May god take this baby girl in his arms and heal her.

She doesn’t care about children. She would protect her if she cared. She is a mom and had children how did she not fight him off of her, get her out of the car and run or call the police while on the car. She is awful and just as responsible she watched it happened and did nothing to help a helpless 5 years old.
