The CPS thing scares me so bad. At least in my county they don’t have to have police and they don’t need to come in pairs. We had a gentleman show up at our house once. He was alone. No police. Investigating a report that was made at school due to my son saying “if I did that my dad would k*ll me” to a kid who was telling a story about how he smashed out his parents car windows 😅 It was unfounded of course but thinking back I never questioned the man or his credentials at the time (he had a card and ID badge). Scary to think anyone could show up with a badge they made at staples and get in your home

True story: Came from the gym with my buddy that's a Deputy. He was driving his pickup. I'm passenger... we saw a ford fusion lighting people up. He said that could be an undercover, but he's not doing anything, just bullying. Something wasn't right... he follows him into a shopping plaza, get's his neck badge and side holster and puts his gun in it and confronts the dude... 20 yo, that bought lights online. The 20 yo driving the fusion went to jail... Always remember that real cops still drive normal vehicles and still have the ability to get you arrested for playing cop.😉

While I agree, I think Derry Lambert is more problematic. Not only did he try to pass himself off as law enforcement but he doubled and triple downed on it! He had just enough actual information to pass himself off as credible to a citizen but not to an actual law enforcement officer. But, that didn't stop him and he kept his charade up for far too long! Most fake law enforcement suspects would have crumbled long before he did. That is seriously unhinged of him to keep it up for as long as he did!!

I highly doubt that anyone that deals with the welfare of children would smoke/vape as they're looking for the house/address of where they are about to be investigating. Now, if she was standing outside of her office on a smoke break, that's a different story, but she's in the field on a supposed welfare call, so yes...her puffing a vape in that scenario seemed instantly odd to me.
