@@mgraygray411 You don't understand how insurances work. No need to touch good officers pensions. This will change the mindset of officers and prevent bad ones from obtaining the job in the first place/keeping them.

The San Diego police department is very very sketchy . They covered up the death of one of their own officers Ciara Estrada. Most likely her cop boyfriend killed her and the Department did their best not to investigate. It was one of those "suicide by 2 shots to the back of the head" situations. Another fact I know for sure, is instead of giving Narcan, they would rather ransack a person's belongings , looking for cash to steal as they are dying. In 2012 the Department was sued because they left a guy in a holding cell for 4 days, forgot him and he almost died. The victim who sued them got millions. I repeat, they are a very sketchy police department
@TiptonMama8 ай бұрын
SDPD is sketchy. My sister lives there. She went through a really bad breakup with an abusive ex, and walked away from everything to get away. One of her roommates, several of who were pretty nuts, included one who got jealous she started seeing someone, and tried to start controlling her. So she gave notice and proceeded to move out early. But early on moving day, when the roommate noticed she was moving out then, he dug out his fishing spear, and when she sat down for a minute, he sat down too and put the spear on the little table between them with the spear pointing right at her, and the trigger right near his hand. So SDPD were called. It took forever, and they finally 5150d the guy. But shortly after that, one of those cops started sending her d*ck pics. He showed up at her new address, called her repeatedly, and became a bit obsessive stalker himself. It slowed way down when a friend of hers, in the legal field, sent him a nice little letter to cease and desist, along with copies of the pics. But several months later, she was crazy sick. She heads into Walgreens (random pharm) with a script, and is in line to get her meds for said virus that was not The Plague, and some guy behind her was an obvious mental patient muttering, talking to no one, etc... this guy literally assaults her just because of whatever was going on between warring factions in his own head, and the pharmacist said they wouldn't help her with figuring out who he was. She's a paralegal by this point. She calls the police, and while she was grateful it wasn't Officer Dick, it was another cop who was just a dick, and accused her of wasting their time. Her tongue is sharp as razors, which is why she's great in law, and she told the cop off, and threatened him, pointing to the cameras in the store as proof of her assault, her call to 911, and his insistence they leave the store to "discuss it further" and after his colleague stalked her for several months, and she still has pics of his dick on her phone, she'd love to add him to a lawsuit against the city. Anyway, the cop did look at the camera. They didn't help, said he was a local homeless guy, and advised she stay inside after dark. 🙄 Then she got on her feet and moved to her own place in a better part of town. So yeah those cops suck.

Little old ladies or people that appeared to be weak in some way were the prime target. That racism actually existed and on a pretty large scale, unlike the few racist people in law enforcement, there is a difference between just being a jerk to everyone and being racist.
