Constitutional Republic, Consent of the governed, Judges decided that they are the arbiters of the Constitution (not explicitly written in the constitution) and granted themselves immunity from lawsuits and criminal prosecution as Andy Jackson said let them enforce it.

#!#! To overcome the current threat to democracy, concerned politicians must lead by uniting stunned and frustrated citizens through a pledge for revolutionary political reforms. Campaign finance reform is a crucial step. Things will only get worse unless corporate and billionaire money is banned from all political campaigns. Politicians serious about returning power to the people must pledge campaign finance reform-limiting contributions to individuals only and capping them at 50 to 100 times the federal minimum wage. This would eliminate super PACs, curb billionaire influence, and strengthen the middle class. The time to act is now! Lead and unite those deeply concerned about American democracy.

No evidence any law or statute has been broken or violated. Wait for both sides. Democrats have admitted they do not know what is happening . TRO based on a perception. Just chill before you order the execution.

Rule of law is gone insofar as it displeases DT. Parties can still bring lawsuits and courts can rule, but there's no way to enforce compliance. We are now a lawless nation.

I do not understand why these Justice Department lawyers do not resign. Certainly with all of their education and experience they can find positions with private law firms. This Trump chaos is going to make a lot of private practice lawyers a lot of money.

@@walterclaycooke Arguably it did work. At least somewhat, some places. Presumably much of it will remain forever unknown to the public at large so that makes it very difficult to assess for efficacy. Employees can surely make a major difference.

It bothered me that the judge in the Treasury case didn't address plaintiff AG's "standing." 🤨 I was also confused by the language of "political appointees." Is the judge actually blocking the Secretary of the Treasury, (Bessent) who is a "political appointee" from accessing data? That seems (separation of powers) unconstitutional.🤔
@lynxminx4
@lynxminx4 15 сағат бұрын
The concern is that Bessent is using his access to unlawfully distribute PII, PCI and taxpayer-owned IP externally. Being Treasury Secretary doesn't mean you get to post people's bank routing numbers or credit card numbers on your Twitter feed. If you accept that statement, it is only a matter of where the line would be drawn; in the world we used to live in, turning it over to a rogue private organization like DOGE whose members have not been vetted or received security clearances and whose equipment has not met standards for housing sensitive taxpayer information, would be over that line.

Our legal system is “chaotic”. I prefer to say its just our great legal system in action. Which ever side one is on it is a active system in constant motion. Its our right to accuse and our rights to defend and the prove which its true or correct. So stop acting like this is something that is not ordinary. The accusations have to be proven. Each will get their chance to do that. TRO does not mean a crime or wrong doing. It is the perception of one against another. So calm down and get your pop corn.

Checking in is great entertainment. The left wing grift of the USA citizens is over😅. Most of ngo defunded have staff that are on multiple boards receiving multiple salaries. I would rather give a million dollars each to a hurricane or fire victim that one cent to bs programs overseas. The Usaid budget was more than the state department.

Why does Quinta cackle ever so frequently? What she tells us is important and of significant interest and she should treat the material as such. Many youngish professional women seem to do this and they shouldn’t.
