Lawl Aureus Direct: 9.5.2021

This direct was well worth the wait in every way! I really liked Pivot Stickfigure's new, revamped moveset as it gave a great representation of Pivot's animation capabilities. I love how he uses the other default Pivot characters to help him in battle and uses blank frames to take care of traps, as well as the FS which changes the stage and chooses hazards for the opponents to endure for it. The rest of the update patches were all nice too, with the best animation Aureus has received (more so than D Kess' set), and I was happy to see that Gru was one of the winners of the Empty Slot, I look forward to him as well as the other winner (Mario Pissing, this should be fun) and the others like Verbalase and American Boot. I look forward to everything Lawl Aureus has to offer in the future, especially since it was great seeing it back in action again!

This is by far the best executed Lawl Direct thus far, everything was so perfect I could scream. The already top-notch animating has somehow _improved_ from the D Kess moveset, like how the hell is that possible It was insanely satisfying to see Pivot Stickfigure get the moveset he deserves, with stuff that actually pulls from the source material. The rest of the Update Patch was phenomenal. Every single buff & nerf feels justified, and major kudos to you for pulling off the herculean task of respriting Memeulous. (pls teach me how you do it i suck at anatomy) Honestly, I completely forgot that Mario Pissing was in the Empty Slot due to a whole year passing, I find it really funny how he ended up with _exactly_ 100 votes, truly a fucking miracle. Also Gru is such a perfect character to make a moveset for, it really feels like he fits in Lawl. And Pelo's next?!?!?!? That was the icing on my personal cake, Pelo is the character I'm most excited for in your roster! You deserve a break after working your ass off on this masterpiece, congratulations on finally finishing the thing!!!

it has been a year and a half since aureus content. this was like. the perfect thing to see. my god did you deliver on this direct starting with the update patch - Pivot Stickfigure. Yes His entire set barely represented Pivot at all. This new set is just. SO much better. It's just so much for fitting for the funky dude. I really like the new neutral special and down special. Neutral special because it's incredibly creative and just. represents the entire lawl pivot experience. And down special because non-basic counters are the coolest shit to me. And that final smash was just. So creative. I love it so much. And how all the attacks from the original video were remade to look actually good. That was a really good touch! also its meta as shit you are making all of this in pivot like how confusing was that final smash also texas guy :) also that was a really good lose screen - MCAP also got a lot of really cool updates! The potions are now just a lot more coherent and that is nice. I really also the woodman cameo is bangin - i pray for your health dude. you had to frankenstein all that shit that must have been the most painful shit i definitely like the new neutral b, it makes a lot more sense, and references one of the memeulous videos i actually care about also pelo's forward smash was updated and it is the. FUNNIEST shit also i honestly didn't mind the old final smash, even if it was really similar to the scrapped beep boop, but the new one looks VERY nice! seriously. are your hands ok - on to the ones with not as much changes, michael_p's was pretty cool! my favorite changes must be to his neutral b, it's much more useful now! also when i saw how he had his own special horny reaction i just fuckin. lost it - scratch cat's changes are nice. i really like the new neutral b ui, and the updates to the final smash to be much more useful is really nice! - i like that xbox is much more controllable as an assist now, and his combo potential is off the roof! (also nice down smash :) ) - shrekles. there are children here. (cool changes though. not much to comment on) - the ability for an attack to always down is just. a really interesting concept. definitely like the idea more than just defense lowering next empty slot results WHY DIDN'T CIRNO OR SAKUYA WIN I AM SO FUCKING MAD RIGHT NOW alright anger aside, uh. pumped for mario pissing and american boot. they're really cool. gru and verbalase are also nice. erma is erma anyways uh your animation is fucking god tier how do you do this shit in fucking pivot of all things seriously are your fucking hands ok do i need to take you to a doctor

I haven't been in touch with you guys but every time I see those update patches it makes me realize how you guys can not only take criticism but also improve the content your making in order to make it better. The remade pivot move set also made me understood his source a lot better and the touch ups to the other characters made them feel like brand new. Can't wait for the empty slot winners and Pelo. This direct was bloody amazing and all the stuff going on in this is always a treat to come back and rewatch like seeing Pivot get an Entirely New Moveset, seeing the Faster and Smoother Animation throughout this and seeing some new Stages as well as the little lore at the end really shows the effort and care you put into this so overall the wait for this was definitely worth it (also out of every empty slot winner/picks American Boot has to be the one i'm mostly hyped for and Mario Pissing looks like he's gonna be fun to mess around with) anyways have a rest and I wish you goodluck. (Hopefully what I wrote out makes sense) (P.S (unrelated to the video) I'm very late saying this but thanks for the cameo in D Kess' Moveset really my day seeing that :3) KABOOM!

I want to say Shrekles you really outdid yourself with this direct. Pivot Stickfigure getting a complete moveset remake was just so needed and it was great watching him in action. Your animating skills never cease to amaze me and I can tell you put a lot of thought and love into this entire video. I'm really excited for the empty slot winners especially Mario Pissing and Gru. Lmao I can't wait until I see what you do with Mario he sounds like a hilarious concept. Also Pelo getting his moveset next? Hell yeah, I've been wanting to see him for the longest now right next to Mr. Cyanide. And the lore at the end? Just the absolutely icing on the cake for this video. Out of all the Direct/Update Patch, this got to be an entertaining one by far. The first thing I would like to say is the fact you remade Pivot's Moveset IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! there are two things I really love about the Remake, One of them is that the moves change Like how you change moves based on Pivot's animations - Tools in the software itself, And the second of THE ANIMATION! How do you make the animation so smooth EVERY SINGLE TIME I have use Pivot once and I can't even animate a stick figure. Besides Pivot the rest of the roster in the series moves really improve... YES YES YES FINALLY AFTER A YEAR OF WAITING WE FINALLY GET TO SEE THE WINNERS OF THE EMPTY SLOT AND LET GOOOOOOO I'm really hyped for Mario Pissing, Gru, Verblase, and Emra despite never heard of the source material before. Anyways I can't wait for the future of Lawl Aureus!

This is a Masterpiece in Lawl!! Everything was so crisp, so clean, and I could just gush about it for days, but since I have something called sleep happening soon, I'm gonna stick to the highlights. - YOU REMADE PIVOT COMPLETELY OH MY GOD THAT'S SICK. Seriously, I thought Pivot was fine but you upped the anti and Holy Cow it is gorgeous!! Props to you man - Woodman Cameo. Nice >:] - Memeoulous looks GORGEOUS!!! It looks like you just went in and got him to do the moves for you!! - D KESS GOT HIS SHOOT DA WOOP BACK!!! I was wondering when that'd happen and oh my god I'm so happy it returned in it's cut-off glory. - Scratch Cat's Final Smash was Amazingly Redone, Nothing Else to Add - SCRATCH AND GROUNDER CAMEO OH MY LORD THANK YOU - The rest of your characters aged so well to this, it's actually insane. Seriously, you rock!! - Mario Pissing winning made me laugh more than it should've. Interested in where he goes - GRU!!! YES!!!! I've been wanting him in a Lawl for so long!! Wonder if Megamind may rival him? - Verbalase. YESSSSSSSS!!! Now we both got a Beatbox Rep and I am HYPED - No clue who American Boot is outside of Crossover Nexus but hey. Seems fun!! - ERMA BABY!! Didn't read much but I love it's style and can't wait to see it here - So Happy D Kess is getting time to shine, and I think I already know who he is taking on. I'm gonna love it. - The Lore at the End, it leading up to "Time For Action" and Thanos appearing behind Steve makes me so unbelievably happy for the intermixed lore. This was a marvel to watch. This may be one of my favorite Lawl projects ever. Great Job, Shrekles.

This direct was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the small tweaks you gave characters and even some characters like pivot stickfigure getting completely reworked and making all of the character's movesets even better. As for the empty slot winners, while I am sad my bois Shrek and Eric Cartman didn't get in, the characters that did get in easily make up for it. First up is Mario pissing which reminds me a lot of other wtf characters in lawls like yeet sayori, actual sloth and Melies moon where it's such a bizarre concept for a fighter, that I'm really intrigued by how you're going to handle his moveset and because of that I can't wait to see what his will be like. Next is Gru and while I'm not really a fan of illumination or most of their films I do like the original despicable me films and with all of the gadgets featured in the films like the shrink ray and the freeze ray as well as his current meme status, I think he could make for a very creative moveset. Moving on from the actual empty slot winners to the personal picks with the first of them being Verbalase and while I haven't watched too many of the cartoon beatbox battles, the ones I have watched have been entertaining enough and he could make for an interesting moveset using some of the other combatants from the show like thanos so I'm down for him. Right after him we've got the character I'm the most excited for, American boot. I really like Stblackst's TF2 animations for just how wacky they can get and I'd say that all of that wackiness could translate perfectly into a lawl moveset so I'm definitely looking forward to him. And finally we've got Erma and while I'm personally not too familiar with her, I still have some interest in her and how she'll play considering that she looks like a more cutesy version of the girl from the ring so I think she could be interesting as well. And that's all I really have to say, It's so nice to see you back in the community after the long wait and this direct definitely made said wait worth it. I am looking forward to what else you have in store in lawl aureus like all the silhouettes you've been teasing and more potential lore. Anyways thank you so much and I'll see you in Pelo's moveset.

Please, the community was dead until shrekles absolutely made the lawl world shake. He showed us that lawl isnt dead or lacking of content, its still here and thriving. Other things people have been expecting; Edd's Lawl Beatdown Classic Mode The Possible Return of Lawl Chincherinnas And much more, but shrekles the duck DELIVERED. Thanks for being an influencer shrekles. Your getting better and better and I do hope Sakurai sees this, to encourage that anything can be in smash.

.... Where, do I begin. The Animation looks like it was cleaned in bleach and Clorox and then set to be smoother than butter! I LOVED the update patch. Every single patch made me satisfied, FCCD SpongeBob looks perfect, I loved the lore and mysterious ending. I'm hyped for everything to come. (Specially Gru, who is now booted out of my Lawl. Sorry to the 2 people who were hyped for him, but this Lawl will handle him MUCH better than me.) Pivot Stick figures revamp was lovely, and so was memeulous's, both of their new final smashes (along with scratch cats revamped one) are glorious! And I can't get enough of how well you changed up the attacks for certain fighters! And on top of all that, someone as good as shrekles will be doing verbalase. Duuude, I loved this. I'm sorry my tier list and long list of suggestions on Angelo's moveset (which was accidentally removed) wasn't enough to help. And u gotta love the fact you made MCAP Steve's weapons were remade in Microsoft paint. I'm hyped for Sr Pelo, and Mario P*ssing and I'm glad to be on the hype train. The *Shrekles* hype train. I loved this video through it's entirety, and all the cameos we're fitting and great. And I'm happy to support you all the way through.
