I saw them on their very first tour of the States and they played with Ratt at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood. The were so loud and amazing. God i love this music...Long live the Princess of the Night!

Nothing will ever replace the quality hard rock/heavy metal of the mid 70's - early 80's. There are very few "artist" currently out there that barely offer a smidgeon of what once was. And then, mostly, there are cheap copies and disposable idols that lack talent and inspiration. Of you are a kid and like this era and influenced by it...great!! There is a wealth of choices, Learn it, listen to it.....love it. Get a turntable and borrow your dad's LP's.

I wish I was old enough to say I saw these guys live in their heyday... but I was fortunate enough to see them live supporting Motorhead a few years back. Have to admit, that night, they blew Motorhead off the stage. And that's something coming from a big Motorhead fan! Everytime I play this in my car, I imagine I'm thundering along in a steam train!

I love Doug Scarrat's work on the albums he's played on, but when it comes to performing live I think he can't quite capture the magic of Mr. Graham Oliver's work...
