Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower kzbin.infoUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.

My backyard got overgrown when I had to leave my home for renovations. I thought that I was going to need professional equipment to get it under control when I got back but it wasn’t necessary. My Ego battery operated lawnmower cut through all the tall stuff on it’s highest setting without any trouble. I waited a couple days for the clippings to dry out and hit it again at the normal setting and that was it! I’m so glad that I invested in my own equipment, rather than hiring people. Now I can keep a very manicured lawn as my machines are easier to use (I don’t need oil, gas, air filters etc.) and they don’t make so much NOISE. I especially like the headlights on the lawnmower. It doesn’t matter if the sun sets when I’m cutting. I’ll just switch on the headlights which actually make it easier to see where I’ve cut.

@jomama51717 жыл бұрын
Only $65?? Can I sub you out?
@jomama51717 жыл бұрын
I'd aim higher than $65 for that first "taming". At a minimum $95 and you'd still make money. He had a ton of edging, weed eating and other sins to fix because of the owner neglect and all of that takes time, gas and wear on your equipment. Not to mention you are having to re-mow & mulch the clippings so in essence you are cutting the same area twice. $40 would be ok for maintenance once you had it beat into submission. I never tie or lower my "initial work" pricing due to the promise of weekly or bi-weekly maintenance. Charge them what it is worth. You have to figure they have skated by for the better part of the season without any kind of work being done. They would have already paid more than $240 if they had been getting regular maintenance this year. The owner can always say one thing or another as to what they want you to do for them in the future. But the reality of their past actions (yard neglect) still stand. Good luck man!
@JWNLawnCare7 жыл бұрын
be veeeerrryy careful when quoting initial clean ups. One of my first yards was a massive corner block. I had basically no idea how to price jobs properly and underestimated everything. I charged the lady AU$30 for it and it took both me and my friend just short of 3hrs to complete. Looking back now around 9mths later I wouldn't dare quote any less than AU$155 for that yard, if not more. I was so scared of overquoting that I just went absolute bare minimum everywhere. Thankfully it didn't take long for me to realise that I could charge way more and I now quote far better and am making a very handsome profit compared to my friends working for other companies ;D
@jomama51717 жыл бұрын
When in doubt as what to actually charge for the entire project try this method. Create a list of what you would charge for each individual service as a stand alone bid. Meaning if you had to drive over and only do the edging. Make one column for the labor and a separate column for your trip time. Your formula would be: Service: [$Labor/$Trip] i.e. Mowing/Weed Eating: [$85/$15] And then do this for each of the services. Edging, Pruning, etc Now add them all up, this would be your starting price/max. Now take that same list and add up the labor portions only and include one trip charge. This now becomes your minimum and you never go below it. Plus you never know if cases like this if the homeowner/tenant is facing a potential fine. They might have received a warning letter from the city, their HOA, etc. And they might be under the gun when it comes to getting the yard cleaned up. Also be sure to carefully walk yard jungles like this prior to mowing. Bicycles, kids toys, dog tie out stakes, clotheslines, water hoses, etc. Endless amounts of treasure can be found in these types of adventures!
