Lawn Fawn's Platform Pop up With a Window View, 2 Finished Projects

I couldn't not try this and it turned out so cool. Can you imagine the possibilities? I have so many ideas for this one. Most all involve underwater scenes, but an under the ground one with bugs would be cute too.

Hello Jaime. U really outdid ur self w/ these Platform Pop-Up Dies. Ur creativity is clearly evident when u used the alcohol inks on the acetate for the rolling waves. I love that u cut out a window on the front panel to cleverly show under the water. And I love the underground bugs idea! My idea for an underground area is using Lawn Fawns Den Sweet Den w/ a bear family all cozy in their den while a winter scene is above ground. Thanks so much for the inspiration. I really love the whole idea of this card and wanted to make it. It’s just so cute. My only complaint is that I wish the instructions had been a lot clearer. Parts were very difficult to figure out what to do, even with backing up the video repeatedly. But I finally got mine made!

Sometimes when I am not sure of how I will lay out images, I’ll use just a tiny bit of dotted tape runner on the back. Then I can yank it off and reposition if I need to, and then add permanent adhesive

You need blending solution to move alcohol pearls because of the resin.

I do use blending solution. I still just don't think mine move as well as the master. Maybe I just don't use enough, but it's also super dry here in the winter and I don't think I get nearly as great of movement in the winter with my regular alcohol inks as well.

Oh I know what you mean about having extra colored images! I have a drawer full of little containers of them. But I colored and cut SO many extra images for my Christmas cards, I am getting sick of trying to use up bears, etc from Den Sweet Den. Just can’t bring myself to toss them, though!

It's good to put them away and come back to them after you've done other things. Some of my pre-colored images are from a few years ago.
