I think my favorite is the neutral one. And, yes, love tip and instruction type videos, especially for copics and patterned paper.

Hi Christy - Great tutorial. I find these side by side color comparisons so helpful. I am always amazed at the differences in the Copic grey families.If I had to pick a favorite, I might go with the "T" elephant, but they are all adorable and I could see the value of choosing the shade based on overall card composition. I like that you're interspersing these tip videos with your card videos. Wishing you and your family a. Blessed Easter.

Happy Friday, Christy. I saw the title pop up and said, "oh my, gotta see that". OOOh, we are up to the T's - never seen an elephant colored with T's before. WOW, that's pretty. Now this is interesting - using the E70's. Oh gosh, he's cute too. This was brilliant on your part putting them all side by side to see the tonal differences. I for one, LOVE THIS!! My eye is immediately drawn to the N's and then the E70's. Thanks for doing this color comparison. Have a lovely Easter. Be well -

@@christygetscrafty We are almost ready to leave to say "goodbye" and take their Easter baskets over to get one more kiss and hug from them. They leave early tomorrow morning for their trip to Florida with our DIL's family. There's going to be 11 of them staying in the house they rented so I'm sure they are going to have a BLAST! However, (drumroll) on Easter our youngest that came back in October from Arizona is bringing a young man that she's "been seeing and talking to" for dinner. She thinks its going to be easier to introduce him to the rest of our family without her brother and kids - HAH - I laugh at that one! But, we are excited to meet him and we'll see what her BIL has to say since he's a bit protective of her as well as her sister is. Even Grams is going to meet him at the same time - this is a new one including Grams. I think it is going to be interesting to say the least, but I'm sure he's nice or she wouldn't be bringing him. Happy Easter, don't eat too much and enjoy family.

Thanks Christy for the grey tutorial! I may head to the art store tomorrow for the Ts. I just finished coloring some baby bunnies from Trinity stamps and did some in greys and some in browns. I can see that my alcohol marker coloring has improved from watching you. Just watched your daffodil card and I already had pieces cutout but not put together. I used light coral in the middle of the flowers. I need to get at least one card together for a birthday next week. Have a wonderful Easter. 🙏🏻✝️🌼🌷

This too was extremely helpful. I love elephants! This video made me think I might need to start out with n's, and definitely some e's. I am wondering if you could show us some other critter combinations? I know I can go back and watch multiple card videos, and I do that, I love that I can do that. But having the comparisons, is an amazing resource when trying to decide which markers to buy. I know I have a lot of foxes in my stamps, as well as bears, squirrels and bunnies. If you could do a comparison video of one of those I would be eternally grateful. Thank you for this series. ❤

I love this color combo chart! It is so useful and very helpful. Your coloring is amazing and I love watching you color them. I think it's great to have them side-by-side like that. I don't know which one is my favorite, I love them all. I usually color elephants with the warm grays but I have also colored them with the cool gray's, depending on the look I want, so I probably gravitate more towards the warm gray one but looking at them, all, makes me love each one. I wouldn't have thought to use the E70's and I was wondering what colors you would use for the last elephant. I love it and will have to use it some time. I also like white elephants, what would you use to portray a white one? I usually use the W2 or W1 and then the W0 and W00 to finish the shading and fade into white with the colorless blender. My daughter colored one a light blue and I rather liked it so have done a similar one. Anyways, great video and I love the content. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us. You are such a great instructor and I appreciate all the work you put into your channel. Have a wonderful weekend. Big hugs!
@christygetscrafty Жыл бұрын
Ooh! I didn’t think of a white elephant! That would be fun. Yes, the shades you mentioned would look nice for that. Probably any of the lightest grays would work, depending on what tone you wanted the shadows to be. I almost added in a blue or a pink elephant too, but I wasn’t sure if people would be interested in that. But I think either would be fun, especially for baby cards. Have a fantastic weekend, my friend! Happy Easter!🐣

Thank you so much for showing us these different colors to use. So very very helpful. I was wondering what tips are you using and where do you get them? I’m trying to use Copic markers and I’m not having very much luck.

Hi Linda! Glad you enjoyed the video! I just use the nibs that come on all Copic sketch markers. Though I almost never use the chisel end, just the super tip brush nib. I’m sorry you’re not having much luck! Maybe check out my Copic Favorites playlist. I have videos on everything from what paper and inks to use, to how to blend, which colors to use together, and how to refill and clean your markers. Hopefully those tips will help you get better results!😊
