Your front yard looks great. Don't know if I just lack skill, or it is more difficult than you make it look, but I cannot get my yard smooth. Despite "leveling" with sand, it still ungulates. Or maybe it is just me, the owner, who knows all the imperfections. I will keep working at it. Thanks for all the great videos.

This is true #lawndomination . I stopped the video at 2:45 to take a quick look at the yards in your neighborhood. 😂🤣😂. You not only have the best looking lawn (which compared to theirs doesn't look to be hard) but you have a yard that is top 10 of any ones. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your experience with everyone. We all appreciate it!

Ryan it would be a gift to so many of your subscribers if you shared with us details around your grass damage caused by iron. (You mentioned it at 4:30 of this video If damage occurred when applied by someone with your level of experience, there must be valuable knowledge you can share about what went wrong and how you might avoid it in the future.
@ryanknorrlawncare4 жыл бұрын
Too high of a rate and didn't get it watered in. That burned it and it was 90 degrees for two months straight after that so there wasn't any ideal recovery weather. Lower rates more often is my plan going forward
@rjmiller25534 жыл бұрын
was there an adjuvant or tank mix with the iron? Usually it turns the grass black but nitrogen or Methylated seed oil with iron could do more serious damage to a spot. I also have a higher pH, like your lawn so learning about anything you add to iron applications would be pure gold. Methylated seed oil and nitrogen? Your lawn does have the best color of all the lawncare channels on KZbin and that's with alkaline soil.....wow!

Two weeks ago I power raked , aerated and reseeded my lawn with SS1100 Kentucky blue grass blend and also put down a starter fertilizer from the Super Seed Store . It’s really taking a long time to start going . I’ve been watering 3x a day to keep the soil moist. I was thinking on throwing down some Miloganite to try and push the lawn . Any suggestions? Last year I did the same thing but use SS5000 more rye grass but it took off right away . I know Kentucky blue grass takes longer but it’s like I hardly seeded right now . Thanks ...keep up the great content 🇺🇸 ( I usually cut my lawn every 2 to 3 days my neighbors all make fun of me, but I have the nicest lawn around my area . I can only imagine what you neighbors say haha )

As much as I detest HOAs, mainly because of the constant overreach of authority, at least the properties in the community are required to be kept up. My neighborhood is older, built early 80's, no HOA. Many people take pride in their properties, but it's every 4th or 5th house where they make zero effort.

Have to admit, I’m a little jelly over your lawn. I leveled and seeded, but The new grass is a little spotty, even though I over seeded. I’ll have to start again in Spring. Some spots have sunken since leveling...there’s a dip in the front lawn due to a large sycamore tree’s roots! Soaked it well, so I applied the Winterguard fertilizer. I accidentally drop to much and it killed a couple small spots. Need your liquids...for a little extra boost.
