For a golf course you have to put in a pond. All golf courses have a water source. Build a large pond.

Ryan, I have followed your channel for several years & have learned a wealth of info caring for my fescue lawn. My radio controlled (RC) club runway is bermuda. Can you advise me or direct me to an expert in caring for bermuda grass?

I feel for you man! Knowing the depth that you go to make your lawn look as good as it does, that's the first thing I thought to myself...the trencher is ruining his perfect grading in his lawn. Looks like based on the date of this video, you got it back to its pristine shape.

Your videos are really great! One question: How long should you wait after initial glyphosate application before doing another application? Thanks!

The product label may tell you depending on which one you're using. 2 weeks is usually a good timeframe

Margins aren't great rn. 10% off when you're only making 21% per piece is tough on a small business

Why not seed then drag? Seems seed could go in the holes.

Use then if you are creating a new lawn or if you have heavily scarified, top dressed and overseeding, the helps level the lawn but also ensures good seed to soil contact. IMO it is not for levelling an existing lawn, maybe good for squidging wormcasts and that's about it.

I’m familiar with the required steps to start over to create a new lawn and recognize that autumn is the preferred season to do so. But, I want to do a start over in the spring and want to know how to kill my dormant lawn? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Ryan, I recently found your channel and have become obsessed with lawn care again. I have watched most of your videos, bought your cool season guide and recently purchased the Essentials Box for next spring. I am 60 years old and your videos are inspiring and give so much information. My only regret is that I did not find your channel earlier so I could get my lawn in better shape. It s not bad now but the worst part is that its the day before Thanksgiving and now I have to wait until spring to start really working on my lawn. I look forward to buying more of your products and long live #sissygrass!!!

Can you please do a video on how to get this type of lawn on really compacted red clay soil? It’s hard as a brick when dry and slick as owl poo when wet.

I like your videos and I'm really sorry for your grass man, it's kind of outrageous me how things are done in United States... I would never use that evil machine!! And why the hell they insist of using PVC pipes with this horrible connections?! Why nobody ever uses Lego connectors that do not require any glue or heating to stand under enormous pressures up to an inch and a quarter diameter pipe and only use polyethylene pipes!!! There is no reason in the world to trench in the middle of the grass!! No reason in the world not just to use a knife shovel and dig it by hand! No! it is not so much work if you have an idea what you're doing! All the splits should be positioned in a safe closet OVER the ground and not buried separately and randomly in the ground. And definitely not to use PVC pipes rising from the ground or going into the ground and leave them exposed do any mistaking soccer ball 😂 every small hit on this lousy pipe and you will have fountains and waterfalls in your yard.. you basically not supposed to use PVC pipes under pressure at all because they have to be glued and it's meant to fail specially with the paper houses in the United States when there is no real foundation and everything moves all the time. The only good thing is that you chose Hunter and not any of the other funny toys in the market 💪ty🙏❤️

Can someone please help me? My yard is pure red clay soil that literally becomes like a piece of Play-Do when wet. I managed to plug aerate it when it was wet after a rain and it pulled out a lot of 1-2 inch plugs. However, once the red clay dries, the ground becomes hard and dusty. It is full of crabgrass and weeds in the warmer months, but now everything has mostly turned brown and crispy. I am trying to broadcast a lot of perennial ryegrass on the part I aerated and hope it will germinate sitting on top of the red clay soil.

What do you do with a yard that is hard compacted red clay that is sticky red mud on the surface when wet and like dust on the surface when dry? I core aerated it with several 1-2 inch plugs coming out after a good rain, but the yard is full of dead crabgrass from the summer when it flourishes and dead weedy things. I live in NC. I bought tall fescue and perennial ryegrass to try on about 2,000-3,000 square feet. Should I just spread the seed after the core aeration and water daily, and see what happens? Unfortunately, this red clay soil is hard when dry like a desert and when you try to break it up with a hand tiller it just crumbles into a dusty powder.

Great video. But here is a tip if you have smal yard: non-woven fabric. It´s thin, but holds the moisture very very well. Cover the seeds, and water once a day, preferably after sunset.

When to seed? I core aerate in October and overseed with Fescue normally.
