Curious to see update on front lawn - Siesta TTTF ( now branded as Bonfire TTTF). I have narrowed down at selection of United Seeds Snap Back RR and Bonfire mix for fall renovation.

Just dropped a video, go check it out.

Really hope you release a fall update, to show how your low cut TTTF did over summer. Did you keep it that low all year? Fungus? Drought stress? Thanks man!

Did you see the updates?

The droughts suck, but I like controlling my water during a grow in. Well done bro 👏🏾🌱

I can hear it now! Sorry KBG didn’t work for you! It’s a lot of work for sure. I have some TTTF in my lawn and it handles the reel cutting as long as I stay 1-1.5”

From what I've seen, the elites can tolerate the low mowing fine.

I thought you had the Jacobsen GA24. If you have heavy compaction why didn’t you use that with a 5/8th tine spaced 2x2. I ask because I just bought one and pick it up next month.
@TurfCulture2 жыл бұрын
I used the Jake back in the spring, amazing machine but utterly useless on tall grass so I sold it and bought a Turfco XT5.
@timjackson51032 жыл бұрын
@@TurfCulture yeah I maintain less than 3/4” Bermuda here in San Antonio. Scalp time I’m at 1/8th inch so cores all get removed easily.

Fescue grass is the most tolerant grass around Don’t care what the tubers say come summer if you keep it hydrated it will stay green had it for 20 + yrs just got tired of it’s look & how it just exits have to over-seed every fall but you can kick it around its a tough grass don’t know anything about this type your using but hey you wont know if you don’t try good luck keep updated

Great job. Looks really good. I don't blame you for getting away from KBG for your area. You gave it a valiant effort over the last couple of seasons. It will only get better over time. Nicely done. 👍💚🦸

Heat stress and fungal pressure is just too much a little further south.
