Great find! The 7024 was the first lawn boy I ever used when I was a kid. Just finally found another one this spring, wish mine had been FREE though! I have the same feelings about it, I don't know what it is about that mower but it's almost fun to use!

That is one nice 21 inch bricktop!!! Wish you would send some of that moisture up this way to Iowa! We need it!!! Getting big cracks in the ground here in my part of the state! Mark in Iowa.

Thanks for the reply back! I'm over in southeast Iowa..between Iowa City and Mt. Pleasant. It's getting quite dry here....yes great Muscatine Melons and great sweet corn both here! Getting big cracks in the ground now!

just got one very close to this. a 7021 i think. i hear alot about different fuel oil ratios on these d motors. just curious as to what you run in it. thanks

i have the same one that need a total restore. how do you remove the carb? do you need to remove the engine plate? because i see the screw holding the carb are from the inside of the plate...

I want to find a bricktop, Loved them as a kid! I have an old Mag 21. But last brick top I saw was my Uncles back in 1986..Non here in Southern Ontario..Nice mower hope you keep it..Rare now for sure

I use Opti2 in all my two cycles anymore....less hassle and it seems to work quite well for a high ratio gas/oil mix. If I weren't using opti I would be using Valvoline two cycle oil at 32:1.
