I know muriatic acid can be pretty potent. It can completely dissolve rocks within seconds-minutes depending on their size. (Tested for scientific purposes in safe environment) I’d be interested in seeing a video using the Acid on rust spots in concrete. I think IronOut (powdered form) would also be a good test for a safer, yet stronger alternative to the bleach, and slightly weaker than muriatic acid

I use the regular bleach from Dollar Tree (any dollar type store). As it is around 3% (sodium hypochlorite) and doesn't need diluting (or very little) compaired to the pool type chlorine at 10% which does need diluting (it's also cost effective). I spray full strength (3%) and the green algae is gone in minutes. Been using it for years, and yes I forget to water down the plants and grass most of the time... but at 3% strength I haven't had any problems. Sometimes I do rinse, but mostly schedule the cleaning just before it rains. And bleach is also recommended for cleaning the moss, algae and black algae stains from asphalt shingles. I use the 3% bleach for that also and the moss just falls off with the wind or rain. And after a few applications the black staining goes away. For applying to shingles, its best to do it on a cool cloudy day (keeps it from drying to fast). I do try to stay off the roof and my sprayer can reach the ridge for my roof.

Pressure washing old brickworks tends to erode the thin glazing that protect the brick. This is especially true of bricks made in the last centuries, that where not totally fired to the core. It makes the brick more porous to water, this can end up fragilize the whole thing. I think it is better to think of a multi-year approach where each year you come with a weak anti-algea product and then hose washing and with some brushing. Granted the immediate visual aspect is not the same at all.

I sprayed it on and let it sit for 10 minutes and followed up with an inexpensive Greenway power washer with the turbo tip. THANK YOU for sharing - incredible and for $5 there is nothing like it. dash fl, I was 19 when I started my own business as a sign artist, and though I did OK over the years, I suffered a lot of not knowing the business. We did not have this luxury of the internet, let alone KZbin, to help us along. You are so lucky to start at that age and have all these "mentors" that are available to you 24/7 and many of them. Best wishes, and I really hope you much success. One of my biggest mistakes was being a "know-it-all" and not learning when I thought I knew what I was doing. Now, I'm 62 and looking back wondering, "what the heck went wrong!" and I see aplenty! Learn from as much as you can, even if you already know it!

Watching these videos is giving me motivation to get out and take care of things I've been leaving undone in my yard.

Hi LawnCareJuggernaut. What a lovely yard. Your business is doing well for you. Just don't work so hard. You are too good to get hurt. The yard is so clean, and even the front door is clean as well. God Bless you and please stay safe. Give your wife a big kiss on Mother's Day. Take care. Maria.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙✌✌✌✌✌🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Newbie here, love the channel! Black algae secretes a slime covering and sends roots into the masonry. After the power scrub, which effectively punctures the slime protection leaving the algae exposed, a light spray of 1:20 dilute black algaecide used in swimming pools finishes it off permanently. This would be the last thing before leaving site. Hope that helps. Keep up the good ( hard) work!
