First thing I noticed was how Peter only aged around 5 years, yet it's set in the distant future

Thanks for watching my friend. There are so many inconsistencies and holes in the film its crazy. Definitely one of the worst sequels I think 🤔

@@gsreviewzone1649 I loved the first one. So tonight I tried to watch the sequel. Only made it about 30 minutes in.

I watched it years ago, then when I did the review. Not again, someone would have to tie me to a chair and put clamps in my eyes to keep them open. My tears would be from being subjected to that crap not the clamps 😂

@@gsreviewzone1649 well bud, your video about lawnmower man 2, was way way more entertaining than lawnmower man 2

Lol. Thank you very much my friend. Much appreciated. I'll be doing another rant review soon. At the moment I'm in the process of doing a review about the 1985 satirical horror The Stuff.

at 3 minutes in, you mention how you couldnt build a computer within virtual reality, but people have actually created working computers using minecraft, etc. pretty interesting. love your channel btw!

Fair enough my friend, and thank you for enjoying my channel. It's lovely hearing it. It's amazing how far technology has come, and as you say it's now a reality. Back then in 1996 when the film came out though not so much. Saying that though, in the first film you have to have suspension of disbelief that a man can transfer his very being/essence into a computer. A computer within virtual reality is nowhere near as far fetched in comparison. Lawnmower man 2 still awful though. Did you like the film my friend, and any thoughts on what you would like me review 😉

The only reason to watch this is for Ely Pouget (even then, she was far better in Cool Blue and Red Shoe Diaries), or if your kids want to watch Blade Runner but you think it's too violent.

Blade Runner isn't for kids my friend. My eldest has seen it, but its not for my younger kids. Hope you enjoyed the video 😉

Obviously they were being funny by casting Max Headroom as Jobe.

They were indeed. But the problem was that it was too much like a comedian on speed. And a game show host all at the same time lol. 😁

The people who like this movie, I feel, are embracing the sheer force of the CRINGE. There cringe, there's Cringe, and then there is CRINGE. From Patrick Burgen and what-the-f is that hairdo? The earrings? And dig the "I am a waif and dirty" style of the kids, the stoooopid science, or whatnot. This movie is the gift that keeps on giving. The graphics are cringe. The acting is cringe..I am here for it.

Exactly, you are so right. I can't stand it. They should not of gone down and continued the Jobe narrative the way did. If at all. But because they did, It should of been Jobe manipulating or had taken over someone's body and mind. Or multiple ones throught the film. Or something like that. At least that would of been more acceptable. I just pretend the film doesn't exist 😂

@@gsreviewzone1649 Thank you for replying! I think the idea of the first movie was that Job became corrupted because they had gifted him intelligence, but not humility, compassion, things that temper intellect. Because he had no life lessons, he found himself in the position of suddenly being the very opposite of what he was before. So while he had an ascent, it was inevitable he would be destroyed. Not ol Max Headroom's take on Jobe. He starts out a d***head, gets d***headier, then it's max douche Canoe. And I don't even think those graphics were cool back then. Ooogly, oooglier and oogliest. But I have watched it a few times, the cringe is too fun. Anyway, sorry if you have done this, but you might enjoy the WTF movie making style of Mr. Neil Breen. Have a good one!!

Very true about Jobe. Like Dr Angelo said. "Man maybe able to evolve a thousand fold with this technology. But the rush must be tampered with wisdom" The idea of Matt Frewer playing a kind of version of his iconic Max Headroom was very risky and didn't pay off. Thank god he shows more range in future projects lol. Lawnmower Man 2 is like Highlander 2. Both confusing and contradict the ending of the original. Lawnmower Man 2 should of been good but became just another cash grab.
