The guitarist doesnt get the praise he deserves. Dude is a monster.

We would like to bring our little brother Linus. Then the tallest of all three siblings proceeds to walk on to the stage. 😂

Few bands are able to make live recordings better than the studio version. Lawrence is one of those amazing bands!
@Jake_AC3 жыл бұрын
Yes! And it also speaks to producers who “over-produce” a band
@SpektrikMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@Jake_AC eh, its just a different sound. The recording sounds cleaner with so much more elements to it that you can't create live but it misses a bit of the energy in the live take.
@mikecantreed3 жыл бұрын
Actually no. Most well known bands can make live recordings just as good as the albums
@Jeff_May Жыл бұрын
Kudos to their audio team and the camera crew for a clean wide sound and a dynamic variety of shots. And then, Lawrence is just really tight and true on stage live! Add that to the on stage energy, and this is a band I really need to see live someday.
@fremtilfortiden Жыл бұрын
Most bands sound better live in my opinion. Often the studio versions sound more synthetic, where the live versions sound more authentic.

It's been a long, long, time since I fell in love with a band... not just with the music, but the sense of life within the music. I actually thought I was long past that stage.
@GM-xh6gj2 жыл бұрын
You know? You’re absolutely right. Especially from the first time you hear them. I remember a couple of those bands (Brand New Heavies) and there are definitely similar elements in Lawrence’ music.

i haven't had a crush this hard in forever... just heard them for the first time yesterday and am obsessed
@jwb42913 жыл бұрын
underrated part of this performance is that Linus seemed (totally just assuming things here) more reserved and a bit uncomfortable on stage right at the beginning but then the absolute ENERGY from the performance and the crowd opened him up

It might have been that mega quadruple high five at 5:35 lmao

This band showed up on my tiktok. A week later I was sitting front row at their concert. This is a musician’s band for sure. Lawrence is the music revival we never knew we needed!! 🥰

The amount of emotion Clyde puts into the more at 6:40 is both heartbreaking and so well done that it makes me want to cry.

More is honestly one of my favorite Lawrence songs. The piano riff inspired me so much, and also the drums! This song always just makes me feel happy.

Just 2 days ago I was on the stems website playing around with this song for like an hour, letting each little part of it absorb into into my brain. Watching this has me in more tears than I've shed in a long time, and hearing your story about your grandmother just added to the emotional punch of this song. It feels like it should play at the very end of a coming-of-age film.
@cesararias46333 жыл бұрын
Same feeling here.... There´s something so special about this song and this live performance... many many tears! Would you care to share the stems website? Dont know it! I would love to give it a look! Much love from Barcelona!

What a wonderful tribute. My Jewish grandmother passed away the week before I was supposed to fly home to see her. It was going to be a week full of her cooking and then passing down recipes. Alas, they’re lost, but the memories of her live on through our family and now my daughter, her namesake.

May her memory be for a blessing.

I've listened to this version on Spotify almost every day since August. I lost my grandmother when I was very young, but only began coming to terms with it within the past year at the age of 26, as she was like a second mother to me. This song has helped me process a good bulk of those complicated feelings, and I thank you so much for that.
