“Oranges,” from Homesick gets a lot of audience requests at shows and the EP contains “So Damn Fast” which opens Lawrence’s 2nd live album, but “Columbus Ave” is Clyde at his most earnest, and “Hall-Crossed Lovers” is an absolute banger that deserves a full Lawrence arrangement w/horns. Homesick is definitely worth your time and money.

I noticed that one young lady had a hyphenated last name of Stewart-Frommer. In the early 70's in Northern California, I played with a drummer named Gary Frommer, who had played with Stan Getz prior to our meeting. He was a master musician and tought me many things about music and life. I wonder if there may be a connection. You guys just blow me away. Great energy and soul. You young people are steeped in the Blues wheather you know it or not. Thank you all so much.

This is real music real people making real connections playing real instruments feeling real emotions and putting it into their music! Its what music is supposed to be people getting together and making art that connects people together and makes you feel something not some music that a guy made in front of a computer by himself using a program or some random people that just write a song for you that you have no connection to! Music like this makes me happy because it shows me that the art of making music with actual people and actual instruments is still around and it gives me hope!!
