My father was a lifelong Republican, a Ronald Reagan Republican.…..who spent his entire adult life in the Navy serving in 3 wars - WWII, Korean and Viet Nam…was, to put it mildly, a very conservative man. So, when the 2016 election rolled around, I asked if he was going to vote for Trump (this was before people outside of NYC really knew much about Trump). He said, and I remember it like it was yesterday…”No, there’s something very wrong with that guy”. My dad was a strong believer in voting based on a candidates CHARACTER, rather than policies/politics. He said, a person’s character rarely changes and follows them through life, but a persons political policy beliefs can change like the weather. He always voted for the person he felt would do the right thing for America (or city and state where he lived). My dad nailed it in the 2016 and didn’t vote for either candidate…but he knew, even back then, that Trump was a deeply flawed person…and I think Trump has only gotten worse, a LOT worse, since 2016. Vote for CHARACTER, and vote for Harris. 💙 🇺🇸
