@ColinNunya2 жыл бұрын
Then you don't know music. Music is not racial, it's environmental. Tent is not racial. God does not give more musical talent to a specific race. The gift of music is in the mind, not the skin, and environment will shape the sound. Concrete objective fact. Any race can sing anything. Major labels divide us. But in the world of music any race can do anything. If you live in a black community and environment you're more inclined to sing black music. If you grow up in Nashville you may be more inclined to sing country. If you grow up in the 1700s you may be more inclined to sing the music of that Era. God gives the gift, environment shapes the sound. Lenny Kravitz doesn't sing with more soul that white rock singers, and Lawrence doesn't sing more "white". Whatever you grew up doing is what you will emulate. Lenny grew up listening to zeppelin and Beatles, Lawrence grew up listening to Ray and Aretha. This concludes the racial argument pertaining to music. Jamaican singiers don't have more soul than white singers. In Zimbabwe they aren't singing soul just because they are black. If you grow up in the hood you might be a rapper. The debate is permanently over.

So as is mentioned here. Clyde is Gracie's older Brother and while Clyde has been writing songs since the age of 4 (for movies), his sister Gracie has a voice to die for. With their soul/gospel style they have so much energy and funk to really get you moving. It is so rare to see a real band these days which will key change and has high quality song writing as well as score writing. And they are from New York City as everyone is asking where are they from. There are some interesting interviews of the two online. Gracie was a child actor. And Clyde was writing music and scores for their fathers (and other) movies growing up. Also note their other sibling is also on the end of chorus line in this video.
