god i LOVE to see people get a taste of that lawrence magic for the first time, awesome reaction!! you should totally check out their other stuff--if you liked the message of this one and the vibe of them singing with a bunch of friends, Don't Lose Sight (Acoustic) would be right up your alley!!

Amazing reaction. Had me howling when she said 'hey kids'! You were so spot on 😅 Lawrence are amazing. My favourite find of the last few years.

I absolutely love seeing people have their first exposure to Lawrence. Your reaction is definitely one of the best that I have seen. All their music is excellent but they have a few very special pieces. Check out Don't Lose Sight (Acoustic), The Weather (Acoustic & Gospel Reprise), and Freckles (Acoustic) feat. @Huntertones and @jonbellion. I never thought of the Sesame Street angle with them. Take a further listen with these 3 songs and I think you will find that it fits even more. Clyde(piano player) has composer credits back to the age of 6 when he wrote a song for Miss Congeanality. Gracie has performed on Broadway in several different productions and vocals are just ridiculous. Everyone they work with is super talented. They are opening for The Jonas Brothers on tour right now. I really am tempted to pay for front row tickets to see them and them leave. lol

I am in love with this song to an embarrassing and unseemly degree. The combination of deliciously clever writing and orchestration with outrageous levels of talent gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Every once in awhile, I also like to watch someone react to music that I love. Yours is a particularly pleasing reaction, because you're so damn astute. I never thought of this song as being adult Sesame Street, but it is! Now, I'm gonna share that idea and resist the urge to pretend that I thought of it myself.

When you made the comment about Sesame Street before the “Hey kids” breakdown, I knew EXACTLY what your reaction would be in a few minutes 😂. Also you called it when you said it could go basically metal right before she starts SCREAMING. Absolutely love watching people react to this band and seeing I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Others already mentioned that song, but I want to reiterate that if you do have someone you feel like they need help - "Don't Lose Sight" the acoustic version will do what OldSkuleNerd said this song will, "but on Heroin"...

Omg, I had so many mini reactions to your reaction. This is probably TMI, but at one point (when you called Clyde Grover), I think I laughed so hard, I almost peed my pants.. additionally, I think that there's a slight chance that you might be psychic, which I guess isn't too surprising for a Louisiana boy.. Thank you so much for this reaction. It totally made my day.. As an aside, I recently saw somewhere that some of the people they cite as influences are Amy Whinehouse, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and (drumroll, please) RANDY NEWMAN. So, good call there, too.. Lastly, I saw that some people suggested that you react to "Don't Lose Sight" (acoustic) and I agree that it's a good song and you'll like it, but I also think that the acoustic version of "Freckles" would really be up your alley and you would appreciate the musicianship... ok rant over..

Thank you for what you said at the end about sharing as it may be just what someone needs. I discovered this group and song in particular just a couple weeks ago while in the worst part of a severe depressive episode, it made me bawl but mostly good tears really that song along with a few others from some other artists - Ren being one- absolutely helped me get through without attempting the worst again, it's been 19 years never thought I'd get close again. Nothings been worked out yet but I was finally able to get up and seek help, I have no family or friends to lean on so music truly has been my lifeline so what you said truly can't be understated in some cases. First video of yours I've ever seen I just saw what song it was and had to watch/listen lol much love respect and appreciation!
