Hoagy, an American treasure. Anacani, also a treasure, her interview is so sincere, it nearly brings a tear to my eye. Also, Ralna's version of "Skylark" is superbly sensitive.

I was delighted that it was in this box of recordings. I had no idea Hoagy Carmichael wrote so many different songs. Including “heart and soul!”

If you are curious about seeing Hoagy Charmical on film, check out Academy award winning film, " The Best Years of Our Lives" He has an important role as Butch, the saloon owner, and plays piano a few times on film, possibly his own compositions.
