Haha. I know how you feel Zero but it's not an action figure. They only make a limited number and all put together by hand. It's a tiny company and not mass produced. These aren't Star Wars figures that are mass made and can easily be thrown in a bargain bin for $5 each when nobody wants them. Wish they were cheaper. If they start selling more then I'm sure the price will come down (fingers crossed). BTW. More artists ref model videos coming soon so make sure to subscribe!

I really like the poseability of the hands! This model definitely beats the Art S. Buck figure! I just looked at the website and they have a lot of stuff! I really like the animals. They are super cute!

Yes, the Art S. Bucks figure sits on my shelf collecting dust now for sure!! The DOLK reference figures are awesome. So much detail and they really come to life when you need that certain pose. #ShareTheVideo

this thing is pretty impressive. but over $400 is Ludacris. its a plastic posable doll to help you draw. for that price it should come with silicone skin lol

It is a small limited manufacturing run. The dolls are each put together by hand out of their hundreds of parts. Yes, I agree it is expensive BUT to use as an artist's tool it is incredibly effective. Plus, I know folks who spend that kind of money on geek memorabilia, shiny car parts or gadgets all the time without blinking - so if you're serious about your art, then it is an investment.

Mine fell apart the moment I opened the box... Glue didnt hold up the butt area :V I hope they work on the durability but overall its a nice figure. It just break my heart I didnt even got a chance to pose him. Hope the customer service will take some action ;_;

You can try these art figures called armaturenine. They dont have all the anatomy slapped on but they're more durable than these overpriced sfbt's. Mine cracked in most places on the second day of posing, very lightful posing at that. But armature nine is much more sturdy and cheap at that. Guess you can use one for pose and one for anatomy.

Especially with the hands. It makes a big difference if you want to take photos if them in poses with the lighting set up etc.

It basically translates to 'hello' but you only use it in the mornings or maybe mid-day. Not at night.

Yes I have. There are a few different types I want to review. Some are a bit more action-figure like and some are better for drawing reference. It depends what you need them for and how posable you want them to be.

Yeah, I've dealt with them a couple of times. It's a strange site but it's good. They clearly spend more time on their figures than on web development but that's a good thing right!

Like it really looks Like you can make a Good custom It looks great though It comes what a rocket launcher to That's very surprising Cause most Reference dolls that I know Just Come with a katana Are I warrior sword And a shield And a ton of hands

Yes, the Body-Kun figures. It is tiny in real life. having those extra hands is nothing in alternative to hands were you can do all that and everything else with movable fingers. As for the sword... you can easily imagine a sword or use one from any action figure / toy.

Please Check out the body kun and body Chan reference dolls from bandai. I think they are the best ones out there. Dont mix them up with the figma figures, they are kinda bad. And also there are 2 Version of the male and female Version.

I like them but I think they are a bit too small in my opinion. I do keep meaning to grab one for review but it just never happens. There's a lot of videos out there already and I'm not sure what more I could add to that conversation. Same reason I don't want to make iPad videos. lol.
