- When Momo was thinking of his family they are actually referencing some Dragon Ball eyecatchers by doing the same things - With Big Mom putting life into this next attack (literally) with her first using Maser Saber (Mēzā Sāberu means "Roaring Light Sword") which is similar to her Maser Ho / Maser Cannon but in blade form, but this is only the start with the next Bahoho: Misery / Mother's Visit Cannon: 3000 Leagues of Misery (this is a reference to the movie 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother) where she creates a new Homie called Misery who’s appearance looks like Mother Carmel which relates to Big Mom’s own misery - Puncture Wille (Pankucha Vire means "Puncture Surge") is another one of his K-Room techniques where Law pierces them with his sword Kikoku pining them down then after extending his sword he releases a powerful shockwave which causes massive destruction, & a puncture is another word for a centesis the procedure of removing fluid from a body through an injection needle - Kid used Damned Punk (Damudo Panku means "Electromagnetic Cannon") where he creates a railgun then fires an electromagnetic projectile at his opponent, & the name maybe a reference to the British punk rock band called The Damned - We see a few other of Kid’s crew like Mosh (big guy with pink hair), Hip (girl with blonde hair), Papas (guy in the hood & sunglasses), Moai (guy other the bandana), & Quincy (girl with the crown)

I find it interesting that not once does Luffy ever get the upper hand on Big Mom, and her power set makes her the worst possible opponent for him, since there's nothing Luffy could do that she couldn't tank or heal. In the manga, she was even tougher as well, if I recall correctly, nobody in the series manages to make her bleed in a fight, her skin is truly impenetrable so long as she's not grieving. Finally it's interesting that this is the first episode not directed by somebody from Japan, and it's a pretty good one.

@@lich109nah, Bigmom is stronger than Blackbeard and much more than what people give her but you SEVERELY underestimate luffy. NO ONE. Absolutely no one we know can withstand luffy’s bajrang gun. It’s the strongest attack we have seen the series so far. Of course I don’t think he is the strongest or even stronger than Kaido but if he uses bajrang gun, no character we know can tank that shit. And Luffy has advanced conquer coating capable of bypassing defense like Law.

Also, there's limited times he can even use that move in the first place just because of how much collateral damage it causes to the environment.

It’s nothing against Zoro. I prefer him fighting over kid. But Big mom is more entertaining than Kyng. She has a giant sword… a sun, and a cloud fighting with her against a duo. It’s essentially a group fight. Law switching places and kid entering in and out the fight. Big mom going bezerk basically. This fight had a lot caos happening. This fight never had a moment of figuring things out or flashbacks. It went from 0-100 and stayed at a 100 because big mom is a Tank and Law or Kid was constantly attacking. Never a moment for big mom to rest and hit us with a speech If you like Zoros fight better. Thats a WELL RESPECTED opinion. It was S tier and even more popular than this fight. I also do agree that it is opinion based but to a certain point you can see the consistent art work that zoros fight had and the episode was only focused on Zoro and kings fight while this one jumped to momo and Yamato. Hey if you liked that fight better then I respect it man. I just thought it was obvious that Zoro fight was better and I’m not even a zoro fan or law and Kidd fan. Why wouldn't Misery work? She can use fire attacks, has claws, and has an Ethereal form so Luffy can't hurt it (just like he can't hurt Prometheus).

Not yet. Not until he gets that. Spoiler Remember. After tanking all these ridiculous op attacks back to back, she was still not down. I can only think of Kaido who can withstood those barrage and not completely break. They had to push her off island cause they couldn’t take Bigmom down at all. It took all of those combined awakened attacks from kid and law AND the Nuke bigger than entire flower capital to take her down. Not to mention the explosion of magma with no defense. Luffy just isn’t at her level until gear 5 which I think is stronger
