The United States Never accepts responsibility for wrong doings...sad

I think the government did when it came to Japanese American internment camps during WWII. I forget the details of that, but I think the government said it was wrong. Can't remember any other such incidents. I hope there are more where our government made a mistake and later apologized, I hope it's just that I don't recall them right now but that they do exist.

my prayers are with the innocent former prisoners treated in this way. I hope my government and my president can find a way soon to fix this outrage. innocent people, kept imprisoned for years, and now prevented from living with and rebuilding what's remaining of their lives with their families. our government should be ashamed. I am ashamed that innocent people have been abused in this way by my government. It is against what I stand for and should be against what my country stands for. criminals are to be punished, terrorists, I can understand imprisoning such people. But when innocent people are treated thus, and continue to be knowingly treated such, we have no excuse. No justification. If this man and the other men are a threat, our government should say so. If they are innocent, make a way so that they can be with their loved ones. That would be the humane thing to do. I hope my government can find it's way to treating these innocent men humanely.
