I would suggest you contact the Commission for Financial Regulation with the State of Illinois to check if the bank this incident happened with is under their jurisdiction. You can file an online complaint with their office and they will investigate and the bank must respond. Also, you can file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Hope this helps!

I would suggest DONT BANK WITH CHASE!!!! This is a problem that they have. They are the WORSE bank in the country. They have no security procedures in place to protect their customers. I had someone open a whole account at Chase in my name then I had to PROVE who I was to get it closed, but if they had decent security measures in place this wouldn't have happened in the first place. This person literally had a debit card and everything in my name and I have to prove I'm me!!! Yuck I hate Chase
