Mr. Bolling's life was not wasted. He was honorable & brave. Stories such as this bring tears to my eyes- people who make the ultimate sacrifice. No greater love hath any man than this... Thank you for sharing, Ken.

That was a beautiful home. To tear it down to create an empty lot, is shameful.

What a life he led. It's a shame the house was levelled to only leave an empty field in its place.

Sounds like he was way ahead of his time. What a waste of life.. and a home... war and needless loss

The interior photos were obviously taken decades after he was deceased as there is a television set to the left of the fireplace in the library.

KEN, YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK, THIS WHOLE STORY IS ABSOLUTELY SAD AND PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THAT HOUSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DECLARED A NATIONAL MONUMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
