Thank you for telling the original and authentic story of the McDonalds brothers and Kroc, it’s amazing how many people don’t realise how the chain started.

Thank you for giving us the REAL history of McDonald's. Surprisingly Kroc kept the McDonald's name.

Well, everyone knows the name Kroc is associated with ugly shoes! 🤣

2:45 I used to live behind that store and I even worked there once as an emergency back up crewman. I came in from store number 89 out in the 'Burbs.

Ray Kroc helped a lot of small-scale entrepreneurs become financially independent. Starbucks never helped anyone.

I ate at the original McDonald's as a child (with my parents) and loved the french fries. The San Bernardino house is still there and sadly subject to serial flippers. Last I knew, it was still unoccupied and half finished inside.

I like the story of the Kroc butler "Edwards." He never told them about his history. He was Edward Everett Tanner III who wrote using several pen names. He authored books like House Party (basis for the Phyllis Diller show) under the name Virginia Rowans and Little Me (Broadway musical); Guestward Ho (tv show); and most famously the book that became a Broadway play; than a movie; then a Broadway musical; and finally a movie musical: Auntie Mame all under the name Patrick Dennis.

Mostly Patrick Dennis and he wrote 17 hilarious novels I’ve read all but one. Uncle Mame is his biography

@@jeffreymartin6369 I don't remember reading The Joyous Season, and House Party was the only one "by" Virginia Rowans that I've read. My favorite was First Lady (sure the photos have something to do with this).

"The Pruitts of Southampton", Phyllis Diller's sitcom based on House Party was one of my favorite shows for the 1966-1967 season. Diller was one of a kind.
