Robyn was the entire reason for the family leaving Vegas, so she could be near Dayton at the university he was accepted into. Robyn is the reason the entire family was uprooted and moved.

I am not a Robyn fan, but to be clear… that is not why they move to Vegas. The first move was to Vegas because “the law was after them”. Yes, Robyn’s dad lived there. They supposedly moved to Flagstaff because of Dayton, her son. I just feel incredibly sorry for these kids.

@@brendatruant7404 Actually - the whole 'the police were after them' has been debunked for years. The police were not after them, it was all done for show. The siren heard while they were packing up was an ambulance siren. But odd that the location picked was where Robyn's family lived. Not a coincidence.

They bought CP for just over $800,000. According to tax records, the current value is over $1.3 million. The entire first lot was purchased from the family account. He calls it HIS money. They closed that purchase then bought the other 3 lots from the same owner and used the first lot as collateral. That's why they would have lost all 4 lots if they defaulted on any payments.

The part with Kody and Robyn on Coyote pass was the end of the summer, he said it himself. It looks like that part was filmed end summer 2024. The whole storyline timeline is all over the place. There is a lot of footage with Garrison which is removed. That is why there is so much giller with Christine’s marriage. But there are also al lot of re- shoots with Kody and Robyn, because their storyline was about their beef with Gabe and Garrison. It is a shame Kody and Robyn didn’t changed their narrative about the children besides Robyn’s children.

Did you just say that Robin was the only wife who did not want to leave Vegas? Because that is the opposite of the truth. Robin instigated the whole move to Flagstaff because she wanted to follow her son Dayton since he had been accepted to college there. Robyn History for you: Robyn was raised in polygamy in an AUB trailer park in Pinesdale, Montana. Her bio-dad, Robert Marck, had at least 2 wives. Her mom, Alice, was the first and legal wife. They divorced/released when Robyn was 9. Alice then married her neighbour in the trailer park and friend’s husband, Paul Sullivan. It was arranged by the AUB. It was not the, 'Hey, you should marry my husband so we can be sister wives" myth. It was arranged so that someone would pay for Alice and her kids' upkeep. She was a spiritual wife, the 2nd or 3rd wife. This explains so much about Robyn’s apparent predatory approach to marriage. At the very beginning Robyn said she was looking for a husband who would support her and her kids financially. She didn't need to love him. He didn't need to be young and handsome either. She was tapping into the AUB social welfare system for solo moms with kids like her mom did. The AUB were trying to ensure that she and her kids did not leave the religion. And then she met Kody with his flowing blond hair and sparkling smile. Robyn wanted to live polygamy like her mom and stepdad did. * Paul worked. He was a surveyor in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a carpenter too. Paul passed away February 22, 2022. * Paul moved 2 families to different states: the legal wife and kids to Las Vegas, Nevada. Alice and her kids to St George, Utah. Paul’s families did not mix much after that. * Robyn thought that that is what polygamy was. Separate families in separate houses/cities/states. Separate lives. Friendly when they crossed paths. And always jealous of the 'other' family who got more time, got to spend holidays with him and were perceived to have more resources. * Robyn was raised in a separate ‘monogamous’ family unit with a part-time. weekend step-dad. * Robyn’s mom severed the relationship between Robyn and her bio-dad just like Robyn severed the relationship between her ex and his children. * Alice positioned herself as the ‘mistress wife’ that he would want to spend most of his time with. * Alice did not have a job outside the home. He provided the money they lived on. * Alice was always competing with the other wife for time and resources for herself and her kids and she was good at it. * Alice was jealous of the first wife and taught her daughters that being the legal wife was better. * Robyn got what her mom said Robyn needed to be happy and Robyn was still not happy. Sidebar: Robyn's 2 moms still don’t like each other very much. Sharing a husband killed their friendship. The first wife does not want Alice to join her and Paul in the celestial temple.

@7493h she divorced him, she essentially told him that she'd take on all the debt if he signed over the rights to the kids so Kody could adopt them! He had no money, so he knew with her new husband and their show he had a lot to lose. She made him out to seem like he was abusive and just a horrible person. She promised him that he could continue to have a relationship with the kids if he signed them over, so he did. She then told the kids their dad signed them over. She then SURPRISE SURPRISE, didn't hold up her end of the bargain and alienated the kids from him. She erased him from their lives and inserted Kody. From what was last known, he had an aggressive form of cancer and didn't have much time. He wanted to see the kids, but of course, they probably have no idea, and if they do, they're probably convinced he's the devil! Robyn is an actual evil person. She has destroyed SEVERAL families.

@@honeybear12513 That’s Robyn’s story. But in reality HE divorced her after his family had given them money to pay off her credit card debt and she kept spending and hiding purchases and hiding debt. It ruined his business and he had to pay his family back for that loan and they still had all the credit card debt. That’s why she got that debt in their divorce. He was already paying that amount back to his family. He wasn’t going to pay it twice bc she’s a liar and a thief. She’ll bankrupt Kody soon enough now that they don’t have three other women paying for everything. And then she’ll leave him and get a new AUB husband. You can see her already setting it up by talking with her sad victim face about he picks fights with me, I don’t recognize him, he says a lot of strange dark things, I have to stop him from scaring the kids. Once they’re in bankruptcy court she’ll claim abuse (again) and she’ll find Ari and Sol a new daddy.

Some family members I will do this at their house if I'm expected. We usually keep our front door locked, but if I know that family is coming over I unlock the door so they can let themselves in if my hands are tied up with something.

In polygamy, no. I don't see a man being able to connect and parent with more than 4-5 kids, and several wives. In monogamy though, a man absolutely can! (And maybe that's one thing that Kody actually appreciates what he has with Robin...and his sole focus went to her and thier family alone- Wrong to do, but he did it.) We have 8 children (monogamy of course), and no way would I have that many children if I didn't have a supportive husband and father to lead the team.

Right - he was always triangulating them. Just like he has told the family that Janelle was in charge of the money - as opposed to what she really was, which was a simple accountant. I think one of the reason he put Robyn and Christine on property and Meri and Janelle on property is because he knew he would have more control - as Robyn and Christine don't talk and Meri and Janelle don't talk. Had he matched Janelle and Christine - they could have worked together if they both had chosen to leave. Same with Robyn and Meri.

100% agree, it’s how I can (very rarely) feel for Robyn as well. I’ve never, in 19 seasons, seen Kody correctly identify a feeling. He misunderstands his wives almost exclusively, and he takes any complaint or negative feeling as a personal slight. If you imagine how he filters information, and then imagine him communicating like a broken telephone to each wife, the women would never have a clear picture of where they stand or how the others feel about them. It doesn’t help that none of them are very good communicators, but Kody is the main issue. That’s why it’s easier for them to get along when he’s gone. Even ROBYN gets along with them better without him (when the twins were born, for example).

14:08 the point of the not knocking on the door was because before moving to Las Vegas they'd be in one home. The entire family under one roof so you wouldn't be knocking if everyone was under one roof and the other wives seemed ok with people coming and going but not Robyn. That being said my Sister in law and I have access to one another's home. I may do an obligatory knock knock if I cannot hear them at all inside. But if I hear them I'll knock and open at the same time. She doesn't knock ....lol she once knocked and then walked to the bathroom and found me blow-drying my hair naked haha she's like I knocked. I'm like well I'm blow-drying my hair 😂

I was going to say the same. I have keys to all my immediate family’s houses. No one knocks. Come over unannounced and people are always happy to see you. Growing up no one knocked coming into my both my Grandparents home. No one knocked going into most my Aunts/Uncles homes. I get every family is different, so not everyone experiences this. It’s more common in small towns I’m sure.

I think that your last bit is the only "correct" answer on this matter. Knocking or not is a matter of personal preference and the person whose house it is should define the boundaries. My parents don't live in the same state, but I have two best friends with relationships going back 35 years. One I usually open the door and holler or knock, open, and holler. The other I wouldn't dream of doing that with because they'd hate it. Heck, since getting a high-strung dog, they prefer that I text from the driveway rather than knocking at all. Personally, I prefer people to call before they come over. As you said, different strokes!

Janelle and Mary absolutely need attorneys! Robin signed a document in 2018 saying that she does not have her own rights to the property (outside of what Kody gets bcs they're married). They will HAVE to split the property three ways and there's no way Kody will do it unless he is compelled by a court.

Allison, you are so wrong about Robyn and leaving Las Vegas!!! She's the reason they left. It is possible that She is the reason they initially moved to Las Vegas but they left because of Dayton wanting to attend college in Flagstaff. She said, "My Dad worked in Las Vegas and came to us on the weekend because he didn't want us raised in Las Vegas. I don't want this to be our home forever. "

So after all this time, you don't think hiring a lawyer to protect say $250K in assets is reasonable? But you think Kody will be fair? This is basically like a divorce, I want an attorney on my side making sure I get my fair share. I'm not sure why you think a man that has shown he isn't fair and who drags his feet would somehow be reasonable.

Love ya, buuuutt.. these women have spent 30 years with him, being manipulated and used by him like cows(Yes.. they have, because that is how the FLDS/AUB works) He knows exactly how to run them. At this point for them I dont think it should be about the money, but about truly freeing themselves from Kody who is positioning himself to take full advantage of them yet AGAIN. A 3rd party to police and wrangle communications AND keep the situation legal is, imo, veeeery important at this point.

David, saying that the wives allowed it is the same thing as saying that if a man were lying to his only wife in a monogamous marriage and she believed him and supported him and said yes we're going to do this as a family that basically it's her fault because she allowed it if he swindells her. Kody was never honest with these women. It's not their fault that they trusted him as their husband to make financial decisions that would be in the best interest of them and the entire family. That is literally what couples do all the time.

This last episode was interesting if you listened to Robyn carefully so SURPRISE! Her stepfather was living in Las Vegas when they moved there. Her stepfather is a land surveyor, her stepfather came when they bought coyote pass and advised Kody on how to divide up the land…hence Robyn being on more parcels of land even though the only one who never paid into any part of the land was…Robyn.

Robyn mentioned her dad was in Vegas. In other channels I follow, the talk is how Robyn is the reason for the move to Las Vegas, to be near her dad. She's been controlling Kody from the very beginning. But then, he is her best customer. So, the other wives are in a marriage, and Robyn is in a brothel. And Kody is focusing on where he's best served.

David... you are missing Allison's point, and I agree with her... Robyn makes statements all the time, they are "all" her children, so that statement makes weather they live in her house a moot point... when your children leave for college, they no longer live under your roof, and they certainly don't knock to come into their "home"

With the knocking: If you are marrying into a family, that isnone family, and their normal behavior is to not knock because its an extension of your own home....then you have a choice to keep their habits or introduce your own. But this is another reason on the long list of what Robyn did to herself to alienate/divide/set herself apart from the family. Then you want to cry out...they treat us different...?? You can beg to be treated the same and then demand to be treated different.

I was reminded in this episode that Robyn's father lived in Vegas. So does that mean that's why the family moved to Vegas from Utah? Now I know they said it was because they could face legal issues being a polygamist family. But, since they uprooted everyone because Dayton was going to college in Arizona....it just seems suspicious to me.

Meri didn’t like Janelle bc when her and Kody first were married they moved in with Meri’s brother….who was married to Janelle….. then Janelle left Meri’s brother and Married Kody! So, enough for a familial betrayal there. However, I think she became abusive bc she couldn’t have more babies and Janelle had so many so fast. Her way of exerting power over the other wives was to criticize their housekeeping. Well, Meri yes you can keep everything neat bc you are chasing ONE baby. They are chasing back to back mobs of babies.
