@@rodnape ITA there is absolutely no way this was filmed after his death. Her eyes are sparkling talking about her kids being there to fill a father role. Had it been after, no Mom, and for that matter someone as close as Christine was (who helped raise & educate the kids) wouldn't show the loss and reflect on that, especially with a new loss. Although I used to do spiritual Bereavement counseling, and the Mom's were the worst, as it was clear no loss is harder, and a part is gone forever, even when they believe there is more out there. But I'm glad we got to see them this happy, and I'd rather give Janelle the space to mourn privately, off camera. Not everything needs to be shared.

Their life journey is a joy to watch. Christine lovingly raised both hers and Janelle's children. Janelle worked to provide for the family. Both sets of children knew they had committed moms, a life basic that moves them through life. That is the core of "the family" despite all of the chaos that has happened from Kody inability to be a parent to adult children. Despite this, there two mons step up with just plain love, for the children and each other. It is joyful to watch as they solidify their relationship. This is the definition of the word: family.

Not the first time she’s done that. When they did that Shark Tank-style sales pitch for Robyn’s jewelry line, Christine made a mistake in saying to the “sharks” that they didn’t want to ask for too much money because then they might become complacent. On the talking heads part, Christine was starting to apologize and Kody interrupted her and starts saying how it’s okay but THEN Robyn interrupts him and says, “Kody, she’s-shes owning it…” and then he kinda gets mad and tells her, “I’m getting THERE!” I don’t see them lasting…as soon as the money runs out, Robyn is out.
