I'm a strong believer in self defense of person and property. No one should come onto your property making threats. Regardless of some personal bickering or argument. Allow the police to do their jobs. Don't try to take matters into your own hands and go onto their property. That's a recipe for disaster. I'm glad you were able to find a satisfactory resolution for this father and his children.
