Well, I got 3 out of 6, which I'm not ashamed of. But you know who might be smartest of all? A patent lawyer at say, NASA or Raytheon, working through the intricate logic of all the science. Just my guess, if the science questions on the LSAT are any indication.
@pugboi80173 жыл бұрын
but why? a patent lawyer is generally just a science major, albeit usually a physics or engineering major who copped out to do law. There are actually scientists at NASA who are responsible for the patents...
@bgates2753 жыл бұрын
@@pugboi8017 I can't speak much to this, but I do remember a conversation whereby I recall someone saying that to work on a patent, at like say Merck, one would require both a Phd and a law degree. You could also be right though, as I knew someone with their undergrad in engineering who coauthored a science article that was published. That being said, why downplay physics and engineering, or law for that matter, with words like 'only', 'just', and 'copped out'? When the class averages have IQ's around 125 to 130, you are bound to find some exceptionally bright people, even if they never got their Phd. The fact is that there isn't always a motivation to get a Phd in these fields, when jobs are already so obtainable without one. For the record though, I never mentioned a Phd. Combine the quantitative abilities of these STEM majors, with the verbal abilities to become a lawyer (from a high caliber school) and perhaps you can begin to appreciate the level of intellect that a patent lawyer could possess.

How did you get the second question right? You should explain. It'll be fun.😂
@FortheTimeBeingchannel5 жыл бұрын
hahaha let's just say it was pure instinct
@YanWang06224 жыл бұрын
The second physics question is essentially a logic question. If e were right, then d is right. Since only one choice can be right, then e is wrong. The difference between d and e is c, so c is wrong. There is not really any difference between a and b, therefore d is most likely right.

Fun game - but, a better & more fairer game would be to compare intellects in a separate field of study - outside of one's specialty (law & engineering) - like medicine, business, anthropology, world history. literature, etc.....

Not many engineering questions are multiple choice on definitions. I’m not sure how law school questions are posed. If you guys ever do this again maybe try posing like 3 questions from random exams you find online in your respective fields
