Lawyer: Wikileaks founder shouldn't have been charged with espionage for truthful information | ANC

Soundbytes: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s lawyers hailed his release on Wednesday (June 26) after he pleaded guilty to violating a U.S. espionage law in a deal that allowed him to go home to Australia. Chief U.S. District Judge Ramona V. Manglona accepted Assange’s guilty plea and released him due to time already served in a British jail.

Zoe Daniel dares to “speak truth to power” after Assange is free and agreed to a plea deal. Where were her vocal protests in the Australian government and out in the public forum of during Assange’s 14 year false imprisonment ?
