Jura is likely the most powerful wizard OFFICIALLY acknowledged (not the most one, cuz those 4 above him are still humans, it was just a misstranslation). But there are plenty wizards stronger than him, who are not officially recognized, like Gildarts, Makarov, some dead people like Hades and Ur. But all that stuff is about Ishgar only, their planet is incredibly huge

Makarov is part of the wizard saint (or was before the seven year) and he is probably weaker currently than Jura. Just look at Makarov face when he see Jura in action. The only move that can make him win is fairy law because it’s broken.

@@plume2673 he was. As it implied now - he wasn't a part of new power levels in WS cuz he wasn't there. He is just too humble. Its a common practice in FT. The forth WS said he is not a powerful wizard right before showing feats that are hundreds times above anything happened before. Also in current manga time Natsu still considers Makarov as someone incredibly powerful.

@@hatdog3419 two things I don’t remember Makarov saying that but okay. In what does it prove Makarov > Jura because there’s no statement saying Makarov > Gildarts. In terms of magic Makarov has the most knowledge but Gildarts has the most raw power from what we’ve seen. There’s also the fight against Hades. Makarov lose the fight. Then Laxus also lose to Hades but not by much. So at that point Hades> Makarov >= Laxus. After training and becoming stronger Laxus pretty much says to Jura I’m weaker than you but I will beat you. So Jura is currently stronger than Makarov. Again look at the face of Makarov when Jura is on the move. Outside of Fairy law he is outclassed by Jura.

Lmao. 2 things also, first on fight with hades, hades use a high encantation magic and Makarov manage to weaken the damage by casting a barrier around him and don’t have even a lil scratch, and second, in connection on what I’ve said on the first one in Fairytail the more magic power you have the more powerful you are and makarov has very high magic power, and laxus even with a 7 years gap hes still be able to beat Jura in a Battle and do you remember where Cana won over Jura in a Power Scaling Battle? Yes Cana has the Fiary Glitter but she is able to cast that legendary magic on her own meaning she is powerful enough to cast it.

I know Laxus is very strong, but I genuinely believe Gildarts would shit on both him and Jura. First of all, his magic is basically a hard counter to a lot of magic since he just can destroy it and his physical abilities are crazy as well.

For Lucy, I think since her spirits are contracted to the present version, only the present Lucy can summon. Even tho technically future Lucy is her, the spirits are contractually obligated to only be used by present Lucy. Also I don’t think there could be multiple of the same spirit. From what I remember Lucy’s magic is holder magic. She requires the spirit keys to use her magic. Future Lucy could probably still use her magic if she had her keys from the future. It will just summon one of the spirits from the current timeline but I don’t think they could both summon Leo and have two Leo’s at the same time.

Multiple of the golden keys? No. But we have seen multiple Nicolas (what Plue is) during the groups’ “little vacation” to the Celestial Spirit World. Who’s to say there’s not other Horologiums or Cruxes? (I kind of doubt it, but it’s possible. 🤷🏼‍♀️) And as for Future Lucy summoning spirits with her own keys, our Lucy did summon her spirits while in Edolas, which is another reality. Though you’re right about the time thing. I have no idea how summoning Future Leo would work with Future Lucy in the past or if she could even do so. I want to say she couldn’t, since that’d mean bringing him back in time and I don’t think that’s work with the keys??? If both space and time don’t matter (cause space obviously doesn’t, as seen with Edolas), then it could, but I have no idea.

Laxus even fought Master Hades, who defeated Makarov, for a time you know. So he is really powerful even before the time skip.

He was just putting on a strong image after taking the Amaterasu Formula. He told Natsu it should be someone from the guild because he knew he wasn't going to win, but had faith Natsu could do it if he gave Natsu his power.

I love Jura quote to Laxus "In this world, there's always someone above you". But I also love Laxus quote to that is very well said. The quotes in Fairy Tail is a life lesson for anyone who struggles in life. Makarov always give the greatest speeches and wise words and quotes and Natsu, Erza, Lucy and Grey and so many character give out quotes that is inspiring that no many animes does. Fairy Tail is an anime u can learn how to live life to the fullest like its ur adventure and destiny and you can write your own destiny. How to get friends how to live with your life that you desire.

I love in start of Oracion Seis and Nirvana arc, the fake Ichiya said that Jura was one of the ten wizard saints and just as powerful as Makarov. In that time Jura says himself that he doesnt wish to be compared to likes of Makarov as he think he deserves way more than him but now its been 7 years since Makarov been in Fiore and now Jura is really strong and now you can see in Makarov own face how shock he is of how powerful Jura really is now so to ask if Jura stronger than Makarov now? Like Orge lost so fast, so quickly. He didn't know what was coming.

Even if Future Lucy were to summon, there'd be no way to summon the same spirit twice, at the same time. Celestial Spirit Wizards bring spirits from the spirit world into the regular world, they do not create new ones. So even if you had multiple keys of the same spirit, it wouldn't make a difference, because there is only one spirit. That is true even for silver keys. The reason why multiple silver keys of the same type exist, is because there are multiple spirits of that type, but each is still an individual with a single key. So the Caelum that the Neville girl summoned was a different one from the one Angel used. And as we've seen when the team visited the spirit world, there are many Nikola spirits, with Plue being just a single one of them. As for why she doesn't use magic... maybe she didn't bring her keys. Or the keys from the future might not work in the present. We've also seen Future Lucy write into a little booklet with her left had, despite Lucy being right-handed, so there's something up with her right hand or arm too, though that shouldn't prohibit her from using magic. After all, it doesn't really matter if you hold a celestial key with the left or right hand. If I'm not misremembering, apart from the leaders (and Jura himself) there are only 4 others of Fairy Tail, 1 from Sabertooth and Lyon and Chelia - who are his own guild so can't give Jura any points - left, so that's a potential of 15 points for him, 5 each for the leaders and 5 for the non-leaders combined. So yes, Jura and Lamia scale are absolutely still in the running for number 1. They are after all just one point behind Fairy Tail and both are pretty close to Sabertooth.

I hate him for he has done no hard work or sacrifices for the power he has they were just bestowed upon him by tge five Dragon Gods and it is even more frustrating that this bastard comes back from dead again and again its literally the third time he came back from death. Just introduce a badass character on the same level as Gildarts or even stronger so that Natsu struggles to surpass that guy it would be interesting because Natsu(Full power - rage mode) is as strong as Gildarts its just that he doesn't use that power against his friends but also he as the main character should have been strong enough to fight on par with a dragon god for a while that would suffice.

Its because Laxus lost to Nastu. Do people see Nastu beating Jura. Nope. Yet many people see Nastu as being stronger then Laxus, just because Nastu has Laxus power, and because in the last arc Laxus lost to Master Hades, yet Nastu with Laxus power was able to take out Master Hades. The main issue isn't that Laxus won, but that he won so easily against Jura. I remember in the Manga this is were many people left the series because they felt Jura and Laxus would get a really good fight against one another. However personally its not inconsistent it just means the title of Wizard Saint doesn't mean much when their are many wizards that can beat them in the world.

Yeah he has Laxus's magic but he can't use it to that degree. vs Hades he was that strong because he got it directly from Laxus, plus he didn't beat Hades with it. Also Natsu beating Laxus is a huge reach. Erza (who's stronger than Natsu) can't beat Laxus, 2 he had help and barely won, 3 Laxus was exausted, 4 we find out later that Laxus was holding back. They even have a rematch and Natsu gets oneshotted. Laxus is one of the strongest wizards in the world so far. So beating a wizard saint doesn't mean they're weak (Warrod says that doesn't mean they're strong either so why get mad when they show it). Also dropping the manga because of something as small as this proves further how mediocre fairytail haters are. I never heard anyone thinking that highly of Jura to be disappointed enough to leave a whole series. He was never that interesting and isn't in anyones top 10.

I agree with you but their are many Nastu fans that think he was stronger then Laxus and that the rematch fight was a joke because neither Laxus and Nastu were serious in it. You give them the title of strongest wizard, yet their are still wizards like Gildarts and Laxus that don't have the title and are stronger, it lowers the tittle because the supposed strongest can get beaten, and those that beat them don't get the title replacing them. You probably haven't been around that long then, during when the manga chapters came out, King of Lightning a you tube reviewer had this chapter come out and literally quit because Laxus 1 shot Jura. People in the comments equally were upset by it and said they dropped the series. Other reviewers quit later on in this arc for another reason, but it still was one of the moments in the fandom that many fans were disappointed with.
