yes I love when characters in anime have that duality the chill relaxed funny guy most of the time but when something gets under his skin he completely flips all of that into reverse and like obviously going into this anime we knew umemiya must of had a side like that too him since he literally took control of Furin school and turned from a bunch of crazy fighters to a group that actually defends and protects others but damn its so nice to actually see that side too him now :)

I love how Umemiya is more than just strong. We clearly know by now that there is an absolute DEMON sleeping in this man but that's never a solution he tries to rely on. He always tries his best to make it mean something. That whole concept of "a fight is a conversation" and that he asked Togame to leave the rest to him, is the source of his strength. He doesn't fight to just fight, he fights to help and protect. The big brother vibes are so strong with Ume, it's no wonder everyone feels so safe with him.

There's a panel in the manga the anime didn't put in where Sakura saw himself being laid out by Choji if Umemiya didn't stop him. It would of been the same if Sakura was full strength. Choji and Umemiya are monsters, but which one is stronger? Next episode will be gas
