Ambrosuis basicaly took apart Penny's mechanical body and the virus, putting it together into a new body. That would leave her soul and aura without a vessel. But, since Ambrosius can't destroy, he can't just leave her like that. So he had to create a new body for her soul. And since that new body was not a lart if Ruby request (she only asked for the robot body, not the himan one), it will not disappear once he creates something new. BASICALY he just pulled her soul from her body into a new, human one. Also, he didn't destroy her robot body. Since the virus was always a part of it, it would have died whether he had done anything or not.

The Hound was a silver eyed fox faunus. So now we know that Faunus can be silver eyed warriors, and full body human to Grimm fusions are possible (as opposed to Cinder’s Grimm arm mutation)

26:10 yeah, Penny explained it earlier in the volume, when they were sneaking in to activate Amity and Nora got hurt. Basicaly Ruby can break herself, and anyone else she wants, down to their "basic molecular components" (rose petals). Being so small they are practicaly weightless, which allows them to travel very fast. They can also break apart into separate "tornadoes" and rejoin.

The reason that ironwood is so able to make such awful decisions is because of something the show didn't do a good job conveying - his semblance mettle lets him hyperfocus and totally commit to his choices. and penny explained Ruby's semblance earlier on - she can break herself and anyone near her down to a molecular level and rocket around as particles

tbf his semblance isn't the only reason this is happening. He truly believes what he is doing is right so his semblance is giving his resolve an iron will. It also doesn't help that his mental state is unstable with the stress which is probably causing it to be subconsciously on this whole time
