Dynasty Warriors Origins OST: Lu Bu Theme

Cool thing to note about DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS - 真・三國無双 ORIGINS music tracks is that there are often multiple variations of a sound track, essentially dynamic themes. Lu Bu’s theme seems to have this normal variant and a more subdued version when in the Commander mode, where the track isolates everything to just the guitars. The Wall of Fate remix has like 6 variants from what I noticed. That’s all I got to say, Ryu Bu is truly the Dynasty Warriors Origins

@@generalhasashi It's looking good so far, I just wish I can play it but I'm too broke to get a PS5. Hopefully they'll have a complete mix, but there are games where the official soundtrack doesn't have unique variations of riffs and melodies heard in-game, so there might be a need for the in-game version of the tunes to be uploaded and remixed by the fans.

Lu Bu will always have a special place in my heart. My cousin that passed away a long time ago loved the DW series and Dynasty Warriors 4 was his favorite. He was always about 100%ing the game as well getting all the best weapons for each character. Low and behold I didn't see any spoilers for the demo and seeing Lu Bu appear brought a huge smile and a tear to my face. RIP Mark! I know you were smiling and laughing at my ass taking about 10 times to finally defeat Lu Bu in normal difficulty!

LU BU in this game is even more dangerous than before: at first, he seems to be easily staggered, but it's just a dirty, dirty trick. He can suddenly attack you during your combo, leaving little time for you to react.

I'm glad they make Lu Bu a true manacing fighter in this series, retaining his position as one of the strongest warrior and giving the exhilaration when fighting against him. All your five senses flared up everytime he breaks your combo. Even more so when they make him beatable in this series unlike some other rendition which is either too powerful or too weak. This truly felt like a decent challenge and because of the solo guitar segment, it's lit and an absolute banger.

Having 9 Fortitude doesn't count as Super Armor? Whereas the other Dong Zhuo Generals only have 4 at most. What would really make this more difficult is if he wasn't restricted to the end of the battle and Diaochan was also on the field. If past DW games taught us anything, forcing Diaochan to retreat is a REALLY bad idea.

Well, yes and no. After Lu Bu there are still many generals that had both strength and valor. None matching Lu Bu's of course, but now they had strategy to back it up. Lu Bu's former subordinate Zhang Liao is one such fine example. The madman defended Hefei from tens of thousands of Wu army with only five thousands men and two other generals; Yu Jin and Li Dian. That is might at its finest. Strategies was mostly prevalent on the latter half of the Three Kingdoms during Liu Shan vs Cao Pi vs Sun Quan era. Since all three kingdoms has lost their strongest generals, they have to rely heavily on strategy to carry the day. This was especially true for Shu since after Zhuge Liang's death, the only veteran generals left were Ma Dai and Wei Yan. Both are not even part of the Five Tigers.

Although for Sun Quan he sort of inherited the first half from his father and brother, and later would nurture the second generation such as Lu Su, Lu Meng, and Lu Xun. Liu Bei obtained many powerful strategist and administrators during his tenure in Jing and Shu province. The four prime ministers of Shu Han had each two originate from Jing and Shu. They kinda got outshadowed by the many heroic generals Shu possess.
