Lay Down Beside Me - Vincent & Catherine, BatB TV Series

The first time I heard this song, I thought of Vincent and Catherine - the lyrics seemed to fit them perfectly. And it's a waltz! And Winterfest was fast approaching (where V&C danced their first waltz). So ... this little video was born and submitted to Winterfest Online 2011. I hope you enjoy it.

I was Crushed when the series ended!! I now have the whole series on video, thanks to my son. Was a Birthday Gift from him. I will always treasure this. My favorite was when Vincent and Catherine were waltzing to the song "Lay Down Beside Me" sung by John Waite and Allison Krause. Written by Don Williams. This just Melted my Heart. Oh, to have a Love like this would be Heaven!!

There are so many beautiful thing's left to say about the interacting/connection and bond that Vincent and Catherine shared. Clearly, whenever's I watch them together on the tv screen, it always feel like it's the first time. I can never reconcile what Paracelsus did to Vincent, because this, in my opinion, is what tragically led to the demise of the bond that Vincent and Catherine shared. It was one, cruelest thing's any one could ever do to someone. I have to ask, who can be so cruel. I answer this question myself. Someone who true evil in one's heart..

Ditto Veronica. I don't believe any of mine ever loved me either. I just turned 55 and I have pretty much given up on love. I'll just stick to loving my family and enjoying my privacy. There's a song at the end of Phantom of the Opera that is sung by Minnie Driver. I have taken that as my song now. It's called Learn to Be Lonely. You can probably find it on youtube. Blame the network (cbs) that aired the series (I do). A new corporate head came in and wanted the show gone, and quickly, so only 1/2 of a normal full season of episodes were ordered for final season 3. Then the series was officially cancelled by the new cbs head, Jeff Sagansky, on January 4, 1990.
