Omg finally.. thanking for reacting to this.. i waited for this so long. The budget for this movie is almost 1.5 million USD. And Lay spent his own money into this. He specifically made the dragon to be used in his Mvs only. Kinda represents him and his company. The mv, lyrics holds a deep meaning. Basically haters were calling Lay a Lotus which is a slang in China meaning that someone is two faced ir something. So lay dedicated this song to the haters saying that Lotus grow from the mud yet can be extremely beautiful and strong. That's why he called himself Lit. Lay prepared another song which was visually as strong as this one however as the outcome wasn't pleasant enough to Lay, he cancelled it. You have to watch the dance performance for Lit. Lay never ever compromises in terms of music, quality, choreography or anything.

​@@KPopOnLock Lotus actually is a tribute to King Xiang Yu who is the Inspiration behind this song Infact album. He was a brave king, deceived by people but he dint giveup for his land and he decided to die in the battlefield alone. So Lay connected this story with Lotus as it perfectly describes the spirit of Lotus remaining untainted amid filth. and noone had ever done that for chinese king so people were surprised. and then he related it to himself that he wont giveup. And in china these things matter alot. It is a work of Genius thats why Lit album sold out in 6 seconds. The whole concept of this album is about reincarnation connecting past and present lives. Maybe bcz in the past it was the king and now it is Lay. This concept is done for music perspective too. Thats why he mixed modern music with past chinese music alot. There is a wholeeee long explanation for this album song by song bcz it was too complex and mysterious.
