Came to experience the genius of Arun Prakash when I first watched him accompany TMK and Sriram Kumar. He belongs to the minimalist school in which less is enchantingly more. That really explains his deep understanding of musical harmony and the role of accompanying artistes in ensuring that the whole is greater than the musicality of any one part. He is also an accomplished composer and from all accounts, a very good person

Sir what right do you have to speak about Arun Anna's playing? Do you know how Arun Anna has lifted all the concerts he played to great and blissful heights through his musical pakkavadyam style of playing? Better go listen to the Mridangam of Arun Anna in any concert he is playing and then speak.
