Tech actually sent Ronnie his verses, and Ronnie ended up telling him that he had too much singing in it, and he should go back to square one, and rewrite/redo it. Tech was completely blown away because NOBODY has ever told him to go back to basics and rewrite it. I guess when he showed Ronnie the second one (which is what you see here) Ronnie said it was perfect, and then people who are STRICTLY metal heads that haven't ever heard of him went and started listening to techn9ne, and subscribing to him. Tech acknowledged that he was skeptical about Ronnie's decision on the rewrite until he saw the plan unfold. It's in an interview with techn9ne, talking about Ronnie.

What's crazy (for me, at least) is I knew Tech WAAAAAY before I ever heard of or listened to Falling In Reverse. I listen to damn near anything, but am definitely a metal head. I've heard this story a few times, though, and am blown away that he told Tech to rewrite that shit... I want a recording of how it would have been! Real talk, I feel like any metal head (like me) would have loved ANYTHING Tech laid down on this track. Ronald might be an absolute beast, but Tech has been a fucking legend for a long time!

@@chrisj7656 I've loved tech, and the rogue dogs since the 90s! He is my favorite rapper of all time! Eminem doesn't hold a torch to him in my mind. LOVE that music unites us all! And, I've tried searching high and low for what the original bars were. 😭 Can't find it anywhere. I'm also the same way. I listen to all of it. But, my Spotify liked songs list consists mainly of deathcore. 😂 Some metalcore. But, I always tell everyone I'm a metalhead. Grew up on 80s hair bands, and classic rock. Eventually it got to modern rock like old Godsmack. And, I branched off by myself after that. Got introduced to asking Alexandria and escape the fate (with Ronnie before prison) when I was in 8th grade, back in 2008ish. Been hooked since.

Alex terrible (slaughter to prevail) isnt showcased that well in this video but slaughter to prevail would also be a great band to check out to dive into the "heavy metal" genre. Demolisher or viking would be a good intro into alex terribles music.

When this song originally dropped on youtube, they did not mention Tech N9ne, or Alex Terrible in the title or the description. Seeing this day one without knowing it was a collab...was an experience. Im like yeah, sounds like heavy falling in reverse, and then when the helicopter hit the ground and Tech comes in just straight chopping, i was completely blind sided. You are correct, Tech is a damn legend, and he certainly did not phone this one in, his verse, is still my favorite on this. I wish that Alex's Vocals got a bit more of a spotlight at the end, because it is really hard to catch the reference to Slaughter to Prevail, but if you watch that section with the giant devil at the end, you can see Alex's mask fall into the fire. Also the whole section involving Alex, is both Ronnie, and Alex intermixed, so unlesss you already are very familliar with Alex's vocals its pretty hard to pick up on.
