I’m a 64yr old white Aussie mum who discovered Falling in Reverse when Watch the World Burn came out. I have never liked rap or hip hop stuff, I grew up seeing AC/DC live in Melbourne with the great Bon Scott live so many times as a teenager so am really a rock girl, apart from my love for The Cure, who are also unique. But I was hooked from the start on Ronnie and his brilliant musical brain and what he comes up with. I was a classically trained pianist and performed in public and I thought that I had musical talent but I know that I have nothing after seeing this man and what he creates. Not a huge fan of Ronald, but everything else that they have done is freaking amazing and I love his cadence (see I learnt that from watching others react) and his voice is just mind blowing. Gotta get this album!! And the quality of his videos is stunning, reminds me of Deutschland by Rammstein, just a visual feast from start to finish, didn’t want it to stop.

@@sc9475 I haven’t seen Repo Man, but I’ll check it out. You also have Rocky Horror Picture Show. This shit would be so much better than that though. It’s a whole super hero genre that pulls from the best parts of many, many movies and shows, and is turned into pure art. The metaphors Ronnie uses, the lyrics with double and triple entendres. I am not an English expert, or literature major, but Ronnie does dive to depths seldom seen in today’s music. For metalcore, in general, he has transcended everything you see in the genre.

I think this is about his own personal struggles with evil and good, with walking that fine line between love and hate, Society crucified him and he tried to be good but the demons will drag you back down if your not careful To me it represents his struggle to stay sober and stay on the right path when half the world loves you and imitates you and the other half wants to crucify you for past mistakes....

@JourdantruittHD5 ай бұрын
The way I interpret the video is Act 1: He is accepted by this "society" and his fans at first referencing his Escape The Fate days. Act 2: Through that time he did things or said things that broke the mold of what everyone expected of him and the hate began then he was sent to prison this is visually referenced in him being crucified by society, in his time in prison he struggled internally first with rage represented by him destroying the arena around him and his thoughts represented by the angels and demons pulling at his spirit until he broke away represented as well in the video. Act 3: He began searching for a better way to live but still carried his scars and eventually found his strength within himself and through his band represented by the scars on his hands and the suit at the end of the video. Again this is just my opinion I would like to see what anyones thoughts are on this video!

Ronnie is THE ONE who could bring rock operas back and to the top of the scene; reintroducing rock operas to a whole slew of generations who have no clue what one would look and sound like. His music videos are, in my opinion, better than anyone else's and I'm including all genres of music. This band is at the very top of my list under the category of Can't Wait To See What They Do Next! I could be wrong on this but I think Ronnie is the only one who has done the really slow build up with the EP releases to an entire album?! It was worth it. His production team, the entire band, his label, his manager, are all the right people at the right time with the right lead singer and should all be thanked in supporting his vision. Not to mention that this man loves touring and putting on shows for the fans which helps to connect with them. I'm excited to see FIR again a week from Friday. Ohrion, thank you for reacting to his album and giving us your thoughtful commentary on him as a human, their lyrics, their music videos and the production that goes into them. Thank you for everything you do for this community. It blows my mind that your sub count isn't through the roof but at the same time you show that YT channels under 1 mil subs can make a HUUUUGE difference and touch the lives of many, big AND SMALL bands alike!
@courtneaylayne5 ай бұрын
I also wanted to mention that Ronnie hates being compared to NF simply because he's been around longer than him and doing this longer BUT it all connects...his inspo way back in the day was Eminem and I'm pretty sure NF is also inspired by Eminem. The controversy that surrounds Ronnie is what fuels him and he leans into it and stands on business; he brings many things that everyone world wide are suffering from, with, and are dealing with to the forefront. The truth is that the controversy connected with Ronnie isn't actually that controversial because he speaks truth to things that most people actually agree with but are afraid to say out loud or simply don't have the platform to do so. And he knows this! A small thing that should be mentioned IMO is the end of the video where he's in the same clothing as the people he was speaking to which- the imitation was him showing that what he was saying was that truth that everyone agrees with that I mentioned above-so he has taken it upon himself to be the one in the group who wasn't afraid to stand up and stand out. He approaches, in that regular garb, the suit that he wears later in the lore in Ronald... And we call it lore knowing it's actually his every day life put into his work and turned into a cinematic album. What's the saying? Art imitates life?

Great reaction! I LOVED this video when I watched it yesterday. I really hope he puts all the videos that tie together, in order and makes a single video. I expect a lot of people are going to have something to say about the religious aspects of this video. Those people aren't the ones that Ronnie is talking to though. He's calling on the open-minded people who care about growth to open their eyes. When I finished this yesterday, I immediately said out loud, "I can't wait to see what the reactors have to say about this one!!" My daughter was watching it with me. So far, you the ones I have seen, have not disappointed. They've had some of the same "OMG" moments I did. I hope he does videos for the other 3 songs on the album that don't already have one.
