What a beautiful combination the white pencil and Copics make. And the fact that this Is done on coloured paper gives the flowers somewhat of an earthy effect. I loved how both turned out! Gorgeous, Sandy!! ❤️

I love seeing coloring on non-white backgrounds other than black! Sometimes black is perfect, but often I find it too visually and emotionally heavy. Thank you for your continued inspiration. 😍

I always thought pencils had to be used After Copics...so there you go! Loved this lesson and I think your tulips look like early spring bulbs with a light dusting of frost or snow. Gorgeous!

Never thought of using Copics on colored paper. Will have to try this. I've seen you use the white pencil before for highlights, but it works so well on colored paper. TFS

WOW! So beautiful. I read that you can ruin your marker if you go over pencil, is that true? Thank you for sharing.
@karaokelola4 жыл бұрын
That’s what I thought as well (it’s what I’ve heard from other resources anyway).
@StampMyArt4 жыл бұрын
It won't ruin it, but it can discolor the nib (darker colored pencil with lighter Copic). Just swipe it a couple times on a clean white paper to take off residue if you want, but even if the nib is discolored it will be fine.

Just scribble it off if so. White pencil is fine.

I had heard you shouldn’t use Coptics on top of colored pencils. That the wax from the pencils would ruin the nibs. Have you had issues with this?
