I’m loving your channel. And I always wondered about block columns. I was wondering during what types of applications would someone fill the holes with mortar? A block fence wall?

It is common to fill a double cell every eight feet.

@@WoodandBricks Oh I see. I thought every cavity would be filled which could get expensive I bet. Have you ever used that tool with the wheels on the sides and it indents the grout lines?

@@travisandtracyjacobs6198 yes it is called a skate wheeled jointer. Locally we just call it a raker. When referring to the joints they are called raked joints. Filling all the cells can definitely add up financially.
