i love all the 'mini eras' you enter each month/season, cherrien! it's heartwarming and interesting (in the absolute best way) to see how you adjust your routine or daily tasks according to how your body is feeling (physically and mentally). it's so important to be aware of how tired (or not tired) you are, and what that means for the work or things you aim to accomplish. thank you for another cozy and refreshing video 🩵❄

really loved the way you explained your sentiment for appreciating the present moment! i've honestly never thought about the future as being this comforting thing that will always be ahead, and there's just something so refreshing in the way you explained it

Poetry lover here. For me reading poetry is not (only) trying to understand the poem because if you have some knowledge about it, actually it’s in some way impossible to do. But I enjoy it so much because it’s like eating for me 😊 I am reading and thinking how I am feeling about those words and pictures that are showing in my head when I am reading. If I like (doesn’t matter if I understand it clearly or not), then it’s my taste. If not, I am searching for some other poet. People are making it too difficult and it’s something to simply enjoy! I recommend that way of reading from the bottom of my heart, don’t be afraid of poems ❤ take care and have a lovely weekend!

I haven't read Anna Karenina but have liked the adaptations I've seen of it. ~ Starring Vivien Leigh (Julien Duvivier, 1948). ~ Starring Sophie Marceau (Bernard Rose, 1997). ~ Starring Keira Knightley (Joe Wright, 2012). Unlike reading classic literature, where there are specific titles or authors that are good starting points, enjoying poetry is more subjective. Spoken word/slam poetry has a rhythm and narrative that doesn't apply to free form/prose-poems, which is itself different than epic poetry (Paradise Lost and The Divine Comedy) and ye olde Romantic poets (Keats, Shelley, Byron). While lots of poems are constructed very intentionally in theme, subject, speaker, form, etc, others are more about self-expression and captures vignettes of emotion and mood. Yes, read some Emily Dickinson for brevity and Sylvia Plath for self-reflection but also read Dorothy Parker for wit and Leonard Cohen for memories. It is also all right to realize that reading or listening to poetry may not be something you seek out but if it comes to you, you'd give it a try.

as a poetry lover i think you should totally search for more authors!! Let me explain, one of the reasons people don’t get into poetry is for the same reason, its hard to understand and to read but not all poets are like that, you should search for more fitting ones and as you get more into it maybe you get to understand what Sylvia Path writes, poetry gets better and better everyday. I used to dislike poetry because of that too but now I’m a poet myself! I could recommend you some but I’m Spanish and the ones I read write in Spanish but in tik tok there is a lot of English recommendations!!
