Great update Josh. The skirting around the bottom of the layout makes the layout pop even more. Man that SP locomotive looks slick! Whoever attends Amherst will end up getting some nice stuff that your being very generous to give away. I do know what you mean on the trees as I've been installing Super Trees on my layout as well. It does take a lot of trees and that does take a lot of time, especially when it's cold outside to the spray painting part. Looking forward to the next update! - Jason

Yes that project has been “coming” for a long time. Haha I keep getting distracted with locomotive projects. Hopefully I’ll be able to get that up this spring! I’ve got everything designed and laid out for the crossings, just ne s to order the parts and start building now. Will definitely keep y’all updated.

23" between the main level and the upper level. At 1/4" vertical for every 1' lateral, that's about a 2% grade for about 92'. The lower level is about 22" height difference.

Josh, On those Overland Model Inc. CSX diesel models. Did the motors in those have to be switched out in order for the installation of a decoder or are there decoders that work for the motors that are normally in those? Thanks! They're Inventive Models -Type F couplers. They come pre-assembled and weathered. Still testing the reliability of them, so I'll be sure to share that in future videos once I run them for a bit. -Josh

What does the "X" in CSX stand for? My favorite loco livery is Chessie System. Then they changed their name to CSX.

From what I know, the x doesn't actually have any meaning other than that the company merger just wanted a third letter in their name. C is for chessie and s is for seaboard, the two parent companies. However, since the letter x in reporting marks means a company other than a railroad, csx has to also tack a letter t on the end of their reporting marks
