That first meeting at the airport was soooo awkward. When I met my boyfriend (now fiancé) after dating for nearly a year as a LDR, I nearly jumped on him hugging him when we finally met in person. She said they were basically starting over? That’s so bizarre to me. By the time we met, we knew everything about each other. It’s easier to talk online IMO and you are able to fully disclose things. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work, and you don’t have to worry about seeing them IRL. She should’ve left as soon as he disclosed he was married.

I'm from the US. The first time I ever set foot in a Wal-Mart was in Mexico. It was massive and sold anything one could imagine. Guns, ATVs, dirt bikes,small boats, paragliding equipment, massive amounts of produce and meats, clothes (which seemed higher quality than Wal-Mart clothing in the US), beer and wine... it had several cafes inside. It was truly remarkable. You probably could have bought a small house, some fencing, and a pony with all its tack and feed. Or a single person rocket ship. The Wal-Mart in my neighborhood does not hold a candle to it.

I knew immediately he was Japanese. I’m not Japanese, but I am Asian and I can say that especially with Japanese people they’re very reserved and very modest. There’s no way they would’ve kissed in public. It’s not something that’s done in Japan. Being legally separated and divorced are two different things. The divorce process can take some time and depending on the laws of whatever country is applicable there has to be a period of legal separation beforehand. Someone can be mutually separated and single but not legally divorced.

Yes, you're right, the laws greatly varies around the world. Some people don't seem to get this. There are places where people must be legally separated for a certain amount of time before they can get divorced. My divorce only took a couple of months. Waiting for the paperwork to be processed and getting a court date took the longest part. No kids or assets so it went smoothly.

I think the thing I hate most about 90 day fiance is when the people from other countries arrive from the airport and the Americans are like “you know I was hoping we’d talk more and our enjoy the night together” like these propel are fathomed by the fact that people get tired from long flights.
